I get vexed when people don't realize how crazy and great Megadeths earlier material really is. I think that's why I like the band so much over Metallica. Inside my head the music and riffs felt more powerful and more complex. "The Arsenal of Megadeth" majestic!
I feel like popular metal has become so hyper technical over the last 10 years, a lot of people probably prefer or expect that sort of stuff. That's cool and all but yeah, Megadeth was killing it in the 80s and early 90s.
