⁠@@ryanmccrary2519 I’m not sure why you think her previous niche is gone, since they didn’t touch any of her utilities. She can still buff damage, zone off divers, and hold down a choke point etc. Sure, her damage number could be overtuned right now, but to say that it removes her niche sounds more like you wanting her to be perceived as “bad” so only the dedicated mains could go tell people “I told you she is good”. I don’t understand this perspective, because what we saw was that the devs are responding to the community’s feedbacks. It’s good for characters to have a decent player base so their place in the meta can develop. People are more willing to experiment with 1-3-2 comps now in solo q with Storm as the third DPS compared to before. Some are even trying Widow to see if she could counter Storm. This is healthy for a game. It’s also good financially if they ever want to capitalize on how popular Storm is as a Marvel characters as well and release more skins for her.

The timing is at least short enough on her stun to stop strange ult if youre next to him when he does it, but thats hard and its easier to save yourself with the phase ability. Her auto aim is already garbo. In the first 10 ish hours I have had one tricking her, it frequently will just lock on to nothing in the middle of the air or straight up not do damage. I'll make it work though--top 500 incoming.

They tuned her up so much that you can play her in a way not adhering to her character design. I got beat by a Storm in the skybox yesterday... like that should NEVER happen.

You're right about storm being over buffed but wrong about bans. Bans aren't supposed to be OP character go away. They are supposed to be for strategic planning like breaking up certain team comps or lowering certain counter play for example storm ult is countered by luna and mantis ults so you might ban one of both of them to give your storm less counter play. I played many of games in GM and diamond where we let hawkeye through because statically speaking you're not that guy with hawkeye or we let him through because a teammate communicated that he was that guy with hawkeye. You can also breakup comps like if you don't want extra defensive tanks you might ban strange and magneto and this isn't changed by allowing switching mid game because they aren't banned for 2 minutes then you can play them again they are completely unable to make a comp around those 2. So no we would still want the ban system it would just be used differently.

If you want a balanced game where no hero bans are needed you can play overwatch. Is it fun though ? No but it is balanced. Fun is not allowed if you want something balanced

@@ppeemg And it's so fucking upsetting. Got lord on her last season, 40 hours, and made it to GM with her. The buff finally drops and now I can't even play the character that I dedicated a majority of playtime to because of it. I'm having to relearn Black Panther because the one character I thought would never be banned in high elos is now one of the main targets. Time for a whole fucking season of this shit.

She counters Flankers pretty hard tbh the boosted attack vrseion of goddess boost does wonders when trying to hit people like spiderman and black panther.

Shes good on both it's more about the team comp you play her with. I think it's best to play her with more stationary comps I usually prefer two tanks taking up all the attention while I sit behind them and protect the healers while getting picks from safety. I wouldn't played her in comps with no shield tank or only one healer that can't hit you in the air.

She’s good on both it depends on your playstyle and ur team if they are good. Storm can carry easier now but it’s till a bit hard when ur teammates are braindead

? You can cross heal through that shit half the time or if you don’t have the ult advantage on storm you pretty much have to draw support ults or wait for too long and lose value that way. Yeah she’s fun now but not OP especially with more people playing against storm it’s less surprising.
