A little bit to the side should be fine. The tv looks absolutely fine up to 50degrees from the centre of the tv screen. If the light source is very harsh and directly on the screen, it will naturally look bad. But if it’s not directly on the TV, you should be fine.

LG has 48-inch OLEDs and so does Samsung. There are a log of budget options too. The recommendation will depend on your use case as well as budget.

@@AkhilPatel you can check out the LG C4 and the Samsung S90D. Both are available in 48-inches. You can check them out in an offline store and go for the one you like better. I personally prefer the way LG handles colours and the LG UI is something o find more convenient to use than Samsungs.

I was getting a similar offer during Diwali sale rather it was available at 1.35L, but I resisted buying it because of bad anti reflection and anti glare handling. Is it really that bad ?

@@sumit180288 Nope it isn't. If there is a light source in front of the TV which is on then yes, the reflection is very distracting. However, if you can angle the TV so the reflection isn't so direct, then I don't see any issues. Also, my issue is with the physical reflection of the light on the TV rather than the TVs reflection handling capabilities.

It's really very good...am enjoying it very much...at that price point it's a good choice

Depends on how far at an angle you sit. If you sit, approx 50-55-degrees from the centre, it should be fine. I don't think people sit more at an angle than that. The viewing angle is subject to where you sit. So it depends on your living room/ TV room setup. As for the Sony A80L, its for 1.9L on the reliance digital online store. Im sure of you look offline, you may get it for 1.5L with some discounts, etc. thrown into the mix. All the best to finding it. The Sony Bravia 7 is available for about 1.5L now, which is decent.

@@mayankgautam2893 if you see content in a pitch dark room, you will see blooming. That’s normal. Try switching on some bias lighting in the room that’s not directly reflecting on the screen. It should help.

That’s ok. Your english is good. Yes, the 520 can have leakage and may disturb others in class. The 720 should not have that issue. Hope you enjoy the 720. The 720 has noise cancellation, if that helps.

Short answer is that your experience will be very good. I would recommend checking the number of hours the unit has been used and just check if there are any dead pixels or burn-in issues. Your experience will be largely very good and unless you place a 2024 QD-OLED TV next to the B9, you won't notice the difference. Sure, newer TVs have higher peak brightness and better control over black crushing, but for the experience you get on the B9 it is still fantastic. I am not upgrading this TV anytime soon even though I have seen TVs like the LG G4, Sony Bravia 7 and more in action. From what I have been told by the person from whom I'm going to buy it, it was relatively lightly used for less than 2 consecutive years and has no burns or dead pixels. I'm quite interested in the TV for the reasons I mentioned, and I wanted to know what the experience is like now knowing that it's been on the market for almost 5 years. There seems to be almost no information about it on the internet haha. I'm glad to know that it has things like VRR and supports 120hz like some of the latest LG TVs, and I'm still surprised that the 4 HDMI ports are 2.1, it's a pretty good plus for a TV with that amount of years.

@@bigoroth Yup. Its a great TV. Having experienced some of the newer TVs I am still happy with the B9 and don't plan to upgrade to a newer TV anytime soon.

I think you can drop the 120Hz native requirement if you aren't gaming. There is no use case currently where 120Hz makes a difference to regular content. 3D audio works even if you don't turn them on. turning them on enables the noise cancelling.

@@TheDragonSmasher It depends on how far the sound is from you and how engrossed you are in your content. I found the noise cancellation to be very good if the noise was outside the room I was sitting in. In the same room, there are times when I can hear whats happening, but only when there is silence or soft conversations in the movie I am watching.

They are almost identical with very minor changes. go for whichever one you get cheaper. there is no noticeable difference in performance.

Thank you Sameer. Proceed with Bravia since lg is an older version and Bravia is a latest one. Didn’t like the webOs UI and sound quality. Picture quality wise didn’t find much difference in good light conditions. Couldn’t test in low light conditions.

@@Shadysghost I dont play a lot of multiplayer games so hard for me to give a definitive answer. The content does not look stretched at all unless it is in 4:3 and you are trying to force an aspect ratio.

Depends on the type of direct back lighting. If it is low-quality direct lighting, then a better-quality edge lighting can give you better results. Also, for this TV it depends on the lighting conditions in the room. If there is enough bias lighting in the room, it should compensate for any blooming.

All 3 TVs are good for your requirements. If you want to side load apps or watch content from a pen drive, then the Sony is the way to go as it runs on Google TV letting you side load apps and play content via VLC. The other 2, don't have that option. As for the picture quality, if you like neutral colours, go for the Sony, if you like vibrant colours, go for the Samsung and if you like a mix of both, go for the LG. Thats the best way I can sum it up for you.

120Hz only makes a difference when content is natively shown at that framerate. I don't think sports is shot at 120Hz. I personally don't like the artificial smoothing TVs use to showcase sports smoothly. But that is a personal preference.

go for the 88T, it has a newer processor.

Both are very comfortable. I suggest you visit an offline store and give it a go. If you don't like the "vacuum" feeling you get when wearing noise cancelling, then go for the Sennheiser. they are slightly more comfortable in that regard. if you like good noise canceling, then go for the Sony as they have better noise cancelling.

Pretty comfortable for someone with glasses. like a 8 out of 10 if that makes sense to you. it also depends on the type of glasses you wear. Ig the glasses are a snug fit, then they get snugger with the headphones.

It depends a bit more on the ambient lighting in your room. if there is enough ambient light in the room that is not reflecting on the screen directly, then both can do a decent job.

ummmm... subjective. if the game goes beyond 60FPS, which it does, then I don't recommend it. But give it a shot it you can.

Im sure there are better option out there for your requirements.

if your use case is gaming, then go for the LG. if it is content consumption, then go for the Sony. Also, no difference in the 2 model numbers that I could find. Both are for the bravia 3.

@@IdiotBox86 but bhayia i saw both tvs side by side in croma store.... lg tv looked far better than bravia 3 in terms of clarity and brightness.

It is an edge-lit TV. In a pitch-dark room, you will see it. Try putting on some light in the room that isn't reflecting directly on the TV. that should help/

I have bought this tv 1w back and it has backlight blooming around the corners and it looks really bad when watching movie at night. Honestly, it is an issue and LG should fix it but it's our "chalta hai" mentality because of which we usually don't care. I have asked LG for replacement as it looks really bad. I had option of buying LG B3 OLED which was just 8k more and I went ahead with this one.🤦🏻‍♂️

@@SushilYadav7 The B3 is an awesome choice as it has an OLED panel with perfect blacks and no blooming. If you watch the LG QNED 83 in a pitch dark room, then you can see the blooming. However, switch on a light in the room that isn't reflecting on the panel then the experience is quite decent.
