Im not sure what you mean by chug? But yes the Suhr Alt Models can be used for almost every sound and style. I really love them ; )

Great. I was mostly concerned about feedback in high gain applications and whether it could be used for hard rock/metal.
@@brianh4625 Hello Brian, i tried it on a Soldano SLO100 on higher volume and in that case there was no problem. But the SLO doesnt have the compressed gain stage as a Diezel Herbert or VH4 so you have to try to be sure. Succes and have fun.
The verse riff from sabbath bloody sabbath coulda been quicker, but good. I detuned my Epi SG Standard to D-Standard & I'm close to the tone anyway. Gotta pic a good day to fire up the Roc-Pro 1000 4x12...

Anyone else ever notice most of the demos of this amp, they use an PRS guitar? I own the amp! It sounds great with any of my 17 guitars, various brands( Charvel, Jackson,esp Ltd, PRs se, Epi phone, Yamaha, squire, G&l) mainly. This a a fantastic amp, that takes pedals/ multi effects units, really well!

Whats the riff played at the end?
I own one. It's groovy looking and the clean channel takes pedals well. However, I've never liked the gain channel and it's been unreliable. The handle is cheap and not robust enough to safely carry the amp. My handle broke and they sent me a replacement but I decided to buy a double bound handle I can be sure of. I also had a problem with poorly soldered tube sockets that manifested in the channel switch not working and the volume control having no effect. That is sorted now and I'll probably switch out the "custom designed" speaker and see if I can tame the fartiness of the gain channel. I might just sell it and move on.
Not sure how noisy it is at lower volumes on the gain channel. But if not that is quite an amplifier...
