I just received my macleod tripple plate clutch setups for the Mt82 mustang trans. Hopefully I can get on it soon. And grab some more clips of what's needed for the install.

I also have a spare ecoboost I'm doing a budget build on.

Love to hear it there’s really no content on this type of swap for these kind of cars. I love the FC RX7 just as much as the FD but they RX8 is easier to get in my opinion and after looking at the drift competition, I really wanted to see it done to the rx8. seeing it done in general helps a lot i’ve already learned a lot from your previous videos

@@Awscheetz if you don’t mind me asking, how much did you spend on getting the engines?

@kiethe-darkphoenix4099 I actually am uploading a video now just to kind of give a little information and tell you where I'm at. Maybe this will help some other people kind of the dilemma that I'm working with, but that should help out some and then this weekend. Hopefully I'll tackle down. I love the FC. I love the RX8. The problem with the RX8 is is a lot of people didn't take care of them and when you see them on the road now it's kind of rare but you can still pick them up. Pretty cheap with a blown motor and they're great candidates for swaps. I do love the rotary but if you can afford I'd say $2,500 bucks for the engine swap then the EcoBoost or even the duratec 2.0 or 2.3 or 2.5 would be great because you don't have the high pressure fuel pump and then you can always turbo that you know as you know like a standard motor

It's definitely worth it. I love having the paddles on the steering wheel now. The drive modes are much needed.

@@Awscheetz I would love to see what it looks like but it's going to be the last thing I'm going to do until the warranty expires what I plan to do is installed on the side of the driver's seat right hand arm rest why because I'm 5 and 1 and my seat is so forward that I can't put my elbow on the armrest lol

@@robcadwallader it was good. But I had a bad caliper so after a few months I found it was locking up. I needed the car going to I went back to stock till I had more time to get another caliper.

It is actually from Duncan imports in Virginia. I got it a little over 4 years ago before the big Covid price jumps. Look like a 20b one runs in the $35-55k USD range now. And a 13b is around $20-40k USD. I'm an hour north of Atlanta, hour south of Chattanooga.

@@Awscheetz yeah I peeped on a website for about 29 to 32k for a 20b cosmos to import ova here

I just switched from H&R to silvers coilovers as well. The ride is about the same. Why I switched was I wanted it lower. I'm down another inch from the springs.

I wanted to have adjustable height and stiffness. It's alot lower than h&r and that's what I needed

Anybody make rear camber arms for these yet??

Engine mounts will have to be custom made and welded. ECU wiring is plug and play. Stock trans and driveshaft. I've done my research for sure. I have everything except the mounts. Radiator and intercooler.

@@Awscheetz Are you saying you're going to use the stock Ford trans and driveshaft or do you plan to use the stock FD3S trans bolted some way to the 2.3 Ecoboost engine?

Will be the Mazda rx trans and drivetrain. Ford ECoboost engine

I used the escape bezel and lesne the explorer won't fit

Someone on the aaverick board did but haven't gotten them to tell me how

I fot. Have a part number. But I will say the escape cluster is easier to make work but this one can be found easier

@@NicholasCurcio-eq6wj had to remove all seatbelt monitors. And use cluster menu instead of radio menu in the ipc setting with forscan
