How do these fish taste? As an Oregonian, lake only salmon are always intriguing. I believe the Chinook in Lake Shasta are reproducing as are the steelhead. Using the lake as the ocean. Maybe you guys will get lucky and they will reproduce naturally. Unless your DFG is sterilizing them*

You shouldn't grab the line. The tension from the rod keeps the hook in the fish's mouth.

If hunting isn't fun anymore, you need to set the camera down and get back to the basic ways, hunting shouldn't be about broadcasting a nice kill. Stop taking tags from people who would actually enjoy it and dont feel the need to film it for the masses. It is about connecting with nature, fellow hunters, and putting meat in your freezer. We have enough youtube content already. Also you should tag your deer before the press conference begins per state law.
