Personally how I view this route and Red text Sara as a whole is her selfishness. Every time Red Text Sara shows up it's her true more selfish side coming out. I do think Sara likes Joe but in this route shes realizing that if they were a couple, things could've ended awfully and she would have regretted it more. I do believe this side story was to show that their relationship was only friends for the better and to get a deeper dive into Sara as a character

After seeing this chapter, and Kurumada's Survival Rate, I reached to the conclusion that Kurumada would be the type of person who wants to sacrifice everyone in the Death Game with no remorse (if he survives the first trial). Maybe more antagonistic than Shin. Just check some of the last words of Kurumada: "The strong... eat the weak..." "A weakling's fate... is mine to decide."

To think after all this "i gonna become the champion" Kurumada will died in the first trial and returned as a dummy which later Maple would put a hole in his stomach if Gruusem was a member of Asunaro he would've laughed his ass off seeing Kurumada getting donut by maple and then be killed in the banquet
