Can a almond tree work if you just plant them in the ground and water them? Isn’t that’s how it work in nature ?

Doing fine until you mistakenly mentioned "Warmer Temperatures", temperature is a nummerical measurement of available heat. Temperatures can be high or low or an average of the two. You can have "warmer conditions", but it is a basic schoolboy howler to mix these two definitions, unless you have re-written the laws of thermodynamics that is. Until you get the basics correct, why should i believe you can get anything else right?

I tried this before I went on vacation on plants I knew would otherwise get some rain if it didn't work. What I gather is that there are two things at work. It is primarily a siphon. The string inside uses capillary action to also draw water out. However that actually slows the siphon. When I initially started the siphon, it dripped well. However the dripping had stopped by the time I returned from my trip, and the water container was still full. I suggest those who want to try this not use the string or test it in advance to make sure it will actually work over time.

I’ve tried and failed growing peppermint from seeds several times. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. They just seem to die after 3 weeks. They just shrivel and keel over. I have the seeds lightly covered and the container is in a south facing windowsill. They seem to sprout ok but dont ever get higher than 4 mm tall.

I’ve seen other videos, not use the fridge, because technically, they were already cold stratified, when bought at the store because they were already refrigerated. They will germinate within a week or so.

Anyone know how long a batch of this gel lasts for after it’s made? How best to store it? Was looking for information on how to remove rust on a specific item and wouldn’t need anywhere near the amount created when following these instructions. Do you have to water the seeds while they’re in the refrigerator? I have tried this method with apple seeds and the paper dries out and the apple seeds don’t sprout.

i didnt put mine in the fridge. moist paper towel in a zip lock and threw it in the pantry. germinated within a few days

It's of no use. They don't produce cherries for atleast 3-4 yrs.

Why do we need to freeze them. In the old centuries there were no fridges. How did they grow their trees?
