@@PJsurely med preferably i was thinking something like a bleeding build with butcher and gladiator seems good for a bleed build, could be wrong tho

nothing wrong with a bleed build, but blooddrinker doesn't get anything back from dots and still weakens them. same reason I use a regular moonstone on my sword builds instead of the dot runeglass. but I would go nature's wrath, frigid dawn for head and gloves, light legs, and medium boots with artisan's round shield. let's you get to 22.9 armor so as tanky as you can be but still hit like a truck w/ shield illegal perk combo

I haven't made a guide for this one specifically brother, probably will next time I play but it's mostly my normal stuff but with nature's wrath. I want to try it some without that before saying that's what I'd recommend doing

the funny thing is I still recognize most of the fs n muskrat names.. most of the rats have more hours played than I do n I've played since launch day lul the guys that stick out as new are the only ones trying anything different so I'm personally glad we're getting a few new people

Upload in 4k to get better UA-cam processing, doesn't matter if your original recording is not 4k. Different compression is used with 4k uploads.

it's normally not an issue since I record in an unnecessarily high bitrate. I think I just messed up a setting somewhere since I had to redo everything for diff pc. appreciate the tip tho brother

I do when I play firestaff but for melee weapons all the runeglass options are bad. the melee damage and the leeching runeglasses have an internal cooldown so it's better to just keep the extra damage mitigation you get from using a regular gem.

mornin brother, welcome 🤝 I recently upgraded my pc but with my old 2070 super I just played at locked 60fps 1440p because I prefer it to just be consistent. pc performance was never really an issue. the game isn't rebooting but there will be fresh start servers to give new players a chance to be on a more even playing field since even veteran players would be starting from scratch if they choose to play there. the servers that exist right now will continue to exist as they do now and essentially just get an update with the new pvp island, cross server arenas and some performance improvements. I imagine they're just labeling it an arpg now to hopefully reach more console players since that's a much more common genre there and they made more of the game 'solo-friendly'. it'll still play as an mmo but the multiplayer aspects are basically optional. hope that helps clear things up

the 'artifact exclusive' perk that blooddrinker gets is 25% lifesteal and it's 1 of only 2 forms of lifesteal in the game that doesn't get limited to leeching from a single target. so blooddrinker is really 32% lifesteal and then times 1.1 for divine and 1.05 for the blooddrinker extra bump. berserk gives 5% lifesteal as well so you're approaching 50% lifesteal without having to use a weapon perk on it at all. the only thing stronger in the game for solo play is voracious blade on vg but void blade kinda sucks unless you're in light armor to stick to people. hope that helps brother

nah ppl still do weird dumb shit with their gems brother, end up like 5% resist to everything so basically don't resist anything. I pretty much gave up on trying to resist ranged, at least this way I could survive being dove now that ppl caught on to hatchet actually being good

almost everyone plays light armor and it was a pain chasing them as it was but with the new dodge exploit they can just run forever

nope that's the worst part, works with any weapon. Just roll light attack roll. and if you cast an ability at the end it keeps your momentum and slide another 20 feet. shits broken

the game is coming to console, some fresh start servers, pvp island and some pve stuff. should be good times if they have a lotta bugs fixed

yeah absolutely fire pot would be better, gold just adds up crazy fast. not worth in opr for me. always ele pot in arena. oakflesh/gemstone never worth

yeah taking a break til the update seems like the smart thing to do. game is kinda falling apart so hopefully it'll be fun to come back to new things to try after some time away from it

my honest advice would be play every weapon for at least a dozen matches. when your game knowledge goes from "that hammer ability hurts" to "ok shit I'm rended and exhausted I need to stall because I can't out-trade this anymore, but need to use my dodges sparingly for 8 seconds" you'll realize that every weapon is viable in every armor weight class. there is no magical best build, you'll figure out which weapons pair best with your playing style.

for my normal hatchet/spear build yeah absolutely. some weapons it doesn't feel as good with tho because it tanks their damage so hard like GA or rapier. and blooddrinker doesn't work like normal lifestealing, it doesn't limit you to one target at a time, that's what let's me get away with just standing and trading with 2-3 people at a time. some of the clips in this vid are actually decent examples where I'm healing for over 1.5k hp per swing and hitting people over 4k torrent swings even with the ring on

@@PJsurely I am using Feral Rush / Torrent / Berserk with Blood Drinker and Keen like you have. I am in light not medium. My guess is the lack of damage to keep incoming heals? With the exploits everyone is running (low gear score) where you do less damage means less heals... Maybe this is the problem?

there's a reason I play medium, you can't stand and out-trade somebody when you're in light even with my identical build. you take way more damage and barely do any additional damage. the dot moonstone is important for how i play, it let's me put out better damage than a lot of light hatchet players and still be much much tankier. in my most recent video I was hitting people for 3k light attacks and that was before the keen berserk buff even with blooddrinker on

not 100% clear what you're trying to say. you think healing breeze makes it easy to 1vX? personally, I don't think it's very strong. just another phase of people getting way too excited about the new thing. remember when the majority of people thought 'health' was a good perk? good times.. free lunch.
