Aluminium Smelter Company of Nigeria, ALSCON. It's a city on its own. A big and deep river now links the state to Opobo in Rivers State. It's not Akwa Ibom State University, it's the Federal University of Technology.

As Gov Umo Eno is planning to complete the 18 storey-building started by his predecessor, Udom, in Lagos; may I ask about the importance of such a building in Lagos after all Lagos is no longer the capital of Nigeria. But, before u embark on this project, ensure that u build at least 10 of this same edifice or better in Uyo. Lagos is adorned with skyscrapers, we only have functional one in Uyo and another in Ikot Ekpene. Can Akwa Ibom State be beautiful? The people also need this type of building; a flyover along Oron Road, Ikpa Road, and many other locations in Uyo...

I'm from Ikono and I don't understand this your video. I have been here all my life and there hasn't been any riot in the last 55 years. The crime rate here is one of the lowest in the state. What's all the misinformation about? This is not Imo state nor Anambra where people are being killed daily by IPOB. Please stop this calculated attempt to rubbish a peaceful community and state. You are certainly from the South East by your brand of English and I'm sure you know the South East is a war zone right now with thousands of soldiers at war with Biafra and IPOB terrorists.
