SVERTOFOSSEN, WATERFALL IN NORWAY
Impressive waterfall with a nice trail from the top to the bottom, even on a rainy day. Wearing a waterproof jacket is a must since the spash is quite strong. Amazing nice toilet facilities and parking spots. If not too crowded, it is better to go down a bit by road and stop just near the waterfall. Even if you don't need to go, you MUST visit the toilet here.
From the parking lot above, we can walk all the down to the road. It’s like 15 min walk. In the middle of the walk, you can also go near the water fall. And of course, the bathrooms in the parking lot. You have to go even if you don’t have to go to see modern bathroom.

The 165 m drop waterfall is easily accessible by route 13. Water from the waterfall showers the road before it runs underneath the old stone bridge. It then runs into the Opo river meandering through Oddad...

GAMLE STRYNFJELLVEGEN RODA DRIVING IN JULY ALONG WITH BBSNOW, NORWAY
Переглядів 12День тому
We drove this road in July but experienced heavy snow once we reached on the top and it was an adventurous experience. The road itself is a landmark and a testimony to a masterpiece of engineering design from a bygone time. Built by manual labour towards the end of the 19th century, it conveys a historical presence. Old stone masonry and long rows of guard stones provide a sense of journeying b...

The sculpture park is Gustav Vigeland's life work, comprising over 200 sculptures in granite, bronze and wrought iron. It was installed mainly in the period 1940-1949, but is nevertheless a result of over 40 years of work. The starting point for the park is Vigeland's Fountain, which was originally meant to be placed at Eidsvolls plass in front of the Parliament. These plans were never realized...

The beach is also an excellent place for enjoying the midnight sun, strolling along the waterfront, bouldering on the big rock or simply sitting on the white sand listening to the waves breaking on the shore. The Midnight Sun season in Lofoten is from 28 May and 14 July, but the exact dates vary slightly from place to place. One of the most wonderful and unique things about Lofoten is the light...
GLACIER NATINAL PARK, MONTANA (GOING TO THE SUN ROAD DRVING)
Переглядів 34День тому
DRVING (Going-to-the-sun-road), Glacier National Park, Montana Drove this road 15 yrs ago for the first time. It is an incredible adventurous drive to me. They do have low stone walls along the edge at many points. For me going west to east is less scary than east to west as I thought from Logan Pass to Apgar felt like it had a longer, steeper descent than Logan Pass to St. Mary. Going east, yo...
