Solo Hiking 260 km. Annapurna Circuit, Nepal Himalaya
In this video, I want to share my solo 260 km. trek experience around the Annapurna massif without a guide or porter, which I completed from late April to early May 2024. Along the way, I stayed with local families, experienced their culture and played football with mountain kids. The trek was challenging but incredibly rewarding with stunning Himalayan views. I hope this video inspires you to explore this beautiful region on your own. Thanks for watching.

Perfect, Just perfect… I stumbled upon this gem because of UA-cam algorithm, I’m glad I did. First and foremost it’s a beautiful trail , you have captured it perfectly to its last inch. Each shot, each scenery is just beautifully captured. Story telling without much noise is more interesting. I’m blown away by shot setup, when I see a wide shot or shot with you walking far away from camera , it’s dedication at its peak. The time and effort to take those shots is to be appreciated. This is more like a documentary captured in most beautifully possible. Shoutout to all the locals you hv interacted, they were just pure souls with priceless smile on their face. Thanks you is all I can say, it’s a masterpiece 🙌🏻🙏
What an amazing video! What I appreciated most was the connection with nature, without the usual dialogues that people typically use to explain the journey. Once again, absolutely amazing. Greetings from Peru!
Thank you good man!
Beautifully captured and curated video! I absolutely love the mountains, and this has sparked even more curiosity in me to explore this place and the mountains as a whole. Wishing you all the best in your future endeavours!
Awesome, thank you! Enjoy exploring.
Hey bro Just wanted to say your videos are amazing!! Please keep making them:) But while solo hiking try to make some noise especially if there are a lot of dangerous wildlife around such as bears to deter them from coming close Stay safe and take care!
amazing hiking and nature
Underrated Masterpiece Lithuanian brother!!!
Thank you brother!
I was feeling lost and scared about life. Your video saved me, gave me so much comfort and hope ;) thank you
Glad the video could help!
one of the best..
Fabulous video! So beautifully composed. Thanks.
Absolutely magnificent!
I see you did a very basic packing. What were the essential needs? Did you stay in hostel or coachsurfing? It seems a great trip!
I stayed in teahouses and didn’t take a sleeping bag.
How did you manage to get around the guide requirement? When I went over there were checkpoints checking our visas and guides
I got my permit in Khudi and started from there. Nobody ever asked about a guide. At the official checkpoints, they checked my documents and wished me a pleasant journey.
How many batteries do you bring for such a long hike? Great film 🎥
Thank you! 6 but 3-4 are enough. There was electricity in all the teahouses.
Never knew that the Annapurna circuit could be expedited fully solo. It's so peaceful and cozy. Definitely, I'm gonna trek this circuit very soon. Thanks, man, for this such a beautiful video.
Thank you so much for watching!
Awesome video Bro, I was in Nepal for 3 weeks in November and into December. I fell in love with the ppl and the country, returning in 2026. What camera did you use? I took my Sony A7IV and 6700.
Lucky you! same feelings, enjoy! Sony a7IV.
Amazing inspiring 👏
Bro 26:35 had me laughing with that Indian music 😂But seriouslythe effort you’ve put in is next-level.i don’t usually watch videos in high quality but i had to watch this masterpiece!
Thanks! Reaching Muktinath felt like entering India, so I recorded the sounds to capture the atmosphere :)
Beautiful composition! Thank you so much for this video!
Thank you too!

@@erictchomitch-yq8lg Merry Christmas!
I’m from Vietnam, and I truly love the way you create video content like this. The gentle music combined with the breathtaking scenery, culture, and people is absolutely extraordinary. I hope you’ll continue making more videos like this.
Thank you very much!
Unbelievable, spectacular views. The nature on our planet is so beautiful. I need to make such kind of trekking in Himalayas or their surroundings too. It would be nice if you could mention which equipment you had with you on the route and what was the longest distance you made on one day.
I highly recommend the Himalayan region. It can really change your perspective on daily life and offer many other amazing experiences. I think about 25 km. in one day. You can find my gear list in the video description. Thanks!
@@justas_hikes Thank you brother. I previously missed the info about the equipment in the description under your video, but now I see that it's there. For me, the Himalayas, Tibet, Karakorum and their surroundings are like heaven on earth. I see that you moved from lowland Lithuania to Switzerland, so you have many trekking, hiking, climbing places to go without traveling far. Lucky you! 👍
Thank you, man. Exactly and combined with the Italian Alps, it’s like a never-ending playground for outdoor activities. But I love to discover countries I’ve never been to as well!
You did such a great job with this video thank you ❤ Maybe this video would be even better without any background music to hear the natural sounds better
I love this and I’m so glad I stumbled across your videos. One day, Nepal will be where I go!
What´s the meaning of these blue red, yellow, white and green flags? You can see it everywhere in the same colors. I love it.

I did this in 1999. not much is changed. was surprised to see the bob Marley hotel was still there though lol
There are some new tea houses in Muktinath, but Bob Marley is still the most popular.
I really enjoyed this. No talking or explaining everything. Just you, the camera, and the scenery, which speaks for itself. The dedication to setting up each shot is exemplary. It feels like I'm walking next to you, right behind you, or waiting on you to catch up in some of the shots. Bravo. Well done!
Thank you for the kind comment! This is exactly what I aimed to convey with the film, simplicity of nature and a connection between different cultures, without the focus being on the person.
Amazing landscapes and classy video. Good work. Closest thing I've done is the Pamir Highway by bicycle, which was also impressive but in a different way. Thanks for sharing, and take care.
It must have been an unforgettable experience! Thanks for watching!
which camera did you use for this shoot?
sony a7iv
Wonderful..... Breathtaking shots....watching this is pure meditation.
Many thanks!
Beautiful Camera work!!! You're the Yasujiro Ozu of Travelogues. I'm watching your videos from the latest to the first, but I can't wait to see where you go next! Thank you for sharing your experiences.
Thank you for your kind comment. I will definitely try the “Tatami Shot” :)
