Love your video, but my God, that music sucks!
Nice
I’ve got to try this.Wish me luck.
It’s a bit misleading to say that all you need is tools and the mortar mix when you have clearly applied something else onto these walls prior to putting the mortar on, yet it’s not mentioned in the video. So, what was it that you have first put on the wall and then covered up in mortar?
Wow!!!!
Great video! How many pounds of masonry mortar mix do I need per square foot?
What do you apply to the wall before the concrete mud?
This video gives me confidence I can do this! What's the colored stuff you're throwing on top...is that concrete dye?
I may have missed some things.....what is the sand like powder you are throwing on? is it sand? and the white powder? what is that? thank you so much.
Another post says it is grout.
@@MarthaMurphy-zg8nb thank you 👍
Looks awesome! How did you prep the wall?
Looks great! What is the colored powder you're using?
Can this be done on drywall ?
Following!
That's a lot of weight you are trusting drywall to hold. You can take steel mesh and screw it through the drywall into the studs then pull the mesh off the wall a little so mortar can get behind it then make this.
You just apply the mortar on the wall? No primer or anything like that before?
Following!
No, Thank you very much

Superb ! Thank you where are you located
Wondering if this would work on a drywall wall (vs block).
You could if you nail up galvanized steel mesh. Can get it in the flooring department at Home Depot or a builders supply store
Wow! This is amazing. Thanks for sharing!!
What are the powders you are using to add color?
Wow the door added the extra touch
You're too talented to have inly 2 videos... I was just curious I would like this application outside on my foundation walls what would you suggest I use to seal that please
I cannot thank you enough thank you thank you thank you thank you this is what I have been looking for
Hard to tell, are u throwing the colors dry or wet, thanks.😊
AWESOME, LOVE IT, FANTASTIC WORK!!!! SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS AND DESCRIPTION OF NECESSARY TOOLS & MATERIAL NEEDED, UNLIKE OTHER VIDEOS!!!
This is so far the best I have ever seen and your work is amazing and realistic. Just wondering what kind of powder did you use to sprinkle? Not to mention your skill is next level.
It's different coloured grout.
Great idea, but looks fake as hell with that round "stone" in the center and straight grout lines.
Great video!
All I can say is WOW...& I can do this....I'm in the process of remodeling my son's older mobile home & you make it look so easy & do-able...I have a blocked in fire pit for roasting something outside....am going to practice with the mortar look on that to get my feet wet & then I'll be working on a kitchen island & back splash & accent wall....
Thank you so much for sharing this is exactly what I was looking for. Absolutely gorgeous
Geez please dump the obnoxious background music!
Womp womp
Brilliant
Awful music…….
So is that the same mortar smeared onto the cinder blocks as a flat base to build the rocks on?
That's so clever. I'm totally doing this, thank you!
Nice job. What is the powder that used giving color?
Absolutely amazing, was looking for something like that and I found you. Bravo 👏 👏 👏
Can you use this method on a fireplace wall ?
I'm about to try but I have seen it done. I'm casing mine in with cement board first, It shoukd.stick to it
Looks great but way to fast
That's sooo cool
Omg Que es el polvo Que le va echando??? What kind of powder you used to get the colors?
Great 😮!!! But can I use ready mix on a painted wall.???The paint base is water.
It looks great! Thanks for sharing. I'm planning to try something like this soon and your video helped.
I ❤️ the look & it’s economical! Would this work straight on plywood?
idk but I would cover the plywood with cement board. it's porous so it would hold a lot better for sure.
Sehr gute Arbeit und sehr schön ausgeführt 🙏🏾💪🏾
did you just put this over the painted concrete block? Did you do anything to prime the surface to get the mortar to stick to the painted concrete block?
It looks like there’s a thin layer of mortar as a base but it wasn’t explained or mentioned
Is it wipable?
Lovely job❤
Awesome!
Sorry but just for your own improvement. You should have pictures of nice stone walls for you to look at while working. Try and make your walls look like the picture. If you go pick stone for a wall they usually don't look like the ones you made you do not pick stones that look like the ones you produced. I am not trying to tear you down. I worked for IATSE Local 729 the set painters union and when we we evaluating each others work we were brutally honest. It's how we got better. Don't get mad just be open to improving. Your stones are far to messy and that is one of the most important things. Keep things tidy and be more definite with your borders
Man, I wonder if my dry wall can support all that.
