I’ve bought two benchmarked and they were like razor blades and this thing still was sharper I didn’t know it was possible. I’ll have to check that martini knife out.

That’s news to me lol I knew flathead would but I really thought they were too lazy ig to run anything down.

@@Grissom_Outdoors depends how hot it is and time of year I guess Iv got cats on some crazy top water baits just playing around sometimes

@@texasrigged5875 see it seems like everyone else has but I’ve fished for basically all my life and I have never. It would be epic to catch a catfish on topwater.

Seems like a lot of folks have and I find that so bizarre because I’ve bass fished and crappie fished and cat fished pretty well all my life but never caught a channel cat on any thing other than catfish bait.

Yea I knew they would eat pretty much anything I just never knew they’d chase down a moving lure.

Wow that’s wild I’ve thrown ALOT of bass lures and have been for the better part of my life and this was a first for me.

They might because rice fished every pond around my house except for this one for years and this is only the second or third time I’ve fished this pond and caught a channel so you may be on to something!

That’s wild I knew flathead would but they’re a little more predatory in my eyes. First time seeing a channel do that.

See I knew flathead could be predatory but I didn’t know channel cat would be.

@Grissom_Outdoors yea I live up north we don't have flatheads mostly channels and once in a while get blues I even caught a bull head on a jointed Rapala once but it was hooked on the outside corner of the mouth so idk of it was just trying to swipe at it to scare it away or actually trying to eat it

@@ajchilds2163 that’s pretty cool we have all three and an extra called a Mississippi white catfish. So four unless you want to talk about mud catfish.

@@Grissom_Outdoors Got a bass pond with some catfish in it . My son caught the first one 4 years after putting them in . On a dam worm and a ice fishing pole lmao . Bent that thing in half .

That’s awesome it’s pretty rare to catch a catfish on a lure unless it’s a flathead. But I guess stranger things have happened.

No problem just trying to let everyone know the good news.

In order to buy a silencer you have to pay a 200$ tax and then you have to send off paperwork called a form 4 to the atf (bureau of alcohol tobacco and firearms.) and wait for them to approve it. In the past this wait time was 9 months to a year long. Currently wait times are less than a month.

Yes it is incredibly sharp as I think I mentioned 719 times lol I really was blown away by it but I was shocked how many times I said it while I was editing the video 😂

May have just been a fleck of dirt or something but I should have been able to feel a tick on my arm. Either way I’m fine thanks for the concern!

@Grissom_Outdoors its definitely a tick, you can see its arms questing. If you go to 47 seconds youll see it. Im watching from a 55 inch tv though so that probably helps.

@@mikeboyce21 oh my goodness I seen that that’s gross I hate those things I probably just thought it was sweat at the time. We had a rough year of ticks.

@@brr8888 yep I’m pretty sure I remember pulling him off my arm later once I was done recording and he was huge.

I’ll be honest man this was the first video I ever recorded for UA-cam and I had no clue what I was doing and even further no clue it would get this type of traffic. That said I do have some better film quality now check out the rest of the channel.

I learned a lot from this guy I hope you did too.

I was a professional trapper back in the 80's and 90's. Have caught more fox than coyotes. Learned the school of Hard Knocks way but I was one if the better canine trappers in northern illinois
