@nomanslandfishingwithianko9968 Thanks for the information. . Ya, you're totally right. The lack of rain 2 weeks before this trip and the heavy winds most definitely pushed the water around. I think I was just shocked at how fast amd how much it went down 😆 It came back up some a few days later.

@rbuzaki ya I was expecting it to be really foggy, but ended up not seeing any fog. I had the opposite thing happen....I had better luck once the sun and blue sky came out. I couldn't even get a hit in the morning 😆 Found them out of the wind ...warming up in a shallow mud cove.

@ThumprFishing it was foggy at nautical twilight, and once the blue bird skies came the reds turned on for us and they stayed turned on till we had to leave. Just didnt get a single trout after

@rbuzaki oh very cool. It's crazy how they can just stop biting sometimes. I learn something new and get better at understanding things each and every trip. Always excited to get back out there haha

@@ThumprFishing usually the big trout (26"+) are very finicky when it comes to eating. Smaller ones are a bit more generous when it comes to biting..reds usually dont matter too much

@davidmikitka5674 nope. It's just not the biggest area to launch from. Sometimes, we fish the sendlers camp side and launch from there. Has more launch spots.

@ethanpeters9275 you can access it from either side. Never needed a pass, and I've chatted with fwc out there. It's a side road off of black point road. A lure..paddle tail. Green keitech. They are definitely around. The hard part is finding them. He got that one on a random cast in open water 😆

@jorgeportillo4061 oh ya 100% some days it's just not your day. I went kayak fishing today, and the day started off that way. My buddy was on fish after fish. I couldn't even get a bite. But I kept grinding, and all of a sudden, the bite was on. That video will be this weekend. Tight lines.

@goatsoncrack1885 oh ya, I to have seen some monsters cruising by that area. Evey now and then the stars align and you see one and make a cast...boom your on......but in most cases for me..I cast and they blow on by 😆

@EricYoder-k1h wow, small world. I stand corrected... I thought maybe you were tossing live shrimp. Watched a guy earlier that day do well on shrimp. When I heard you all on fish after fishing almost 4 hours of nothing for me.....(just one of those days 😆 ) I had to come back and see what is up...do I just suck at fishing today, or do these guys have magic baits? lol. I didn't want to get to close and blow up your catches. But next time, say hi, and I'll definitely swing by. @petersonfam11 haha that's crazy. Sounded like you were doing a really well. I ran into another guy earlier that day doing well on live shrimp. I figured that's what you were using. White paddle tail huh, thanks for info. That's always a solid option. I'm not sure why I didn't toss one around. I did toss out a slam shady color kicker crab in this video and it worked. So you're 100^ right. They like that white. Maybe I'll see ya on the water again. Tell then tight lines and happy holidays

I didn't see it but I definitely heard ya pretty excited 😆 I had been fishing 4 hours with nothing at that point and only 45 mins left before I had to go. @petersonfam11 oh no. It happens to the best of us. I lost my pb snook on the other side of that area, maybe 3 weeks ago, in the video. On a wallmart bomber lure 😆 bent the hook 😬 I'm still recovering from the loss 😆

@ThumprFishing I think it was two days after getting Moose home from the hospital my mom had an accident and spent almost 3 weeks in the hospital. Moose had another surgery yesterday and I'm on my way to visit him now.

@FloridaEastCoastFishing thanks. Ya I like to mix it up. Almost took my E-bike today for a few hours to look for some fish. But I'm headed to Orlando VA to try and get a new monitor. Slimy fish and lagoon water isn't a good mix when you have to keep poking your finger 😆

@EyeStrikeFishing absolutely. I love them. They help me avoid tying a loop knot in some bigger fish situations ....with a loop knot as well....you can get some really good movement...These TexasEye allow for great movement, especially when the fish are cold and picky.🙂 I plan to get more and use them in a few other baits as well. 😁

@@ronwhetstone3144 hoping we see low levels for a while this cold season so I can fish my fish in a barrel spots lol. Last year it was around 7" higher in december but this year its shaping up to be good

@davidmikitka5674 ya, it's crazy. I was shocked to. It was a huge drop in a short time. Where did all that water go? They must be able to let the water out somewhere..... Maybe someone left it open. Hopefully, we will get a good amount of rain soon.
