I have big, big plans for the future. I plan on making a video on everything I love, from Minecraft, anime, UA-cam culture, internet culture, philosophy, and whatever is on my mind. My end goal is to build a brand around my personality rather than the subject matter of my content by making obscure references to everything and making ironic jokes. Also I love Bocchi the Rock.
Alan Becker - How to Animate a Perfect Fight Scene
As far as I'm concerned, this is the most in-depth analysis and glazing of Alan Becker's animations on UA-cam. (press "CC" button for manually added captions)

A DreamSMP Retrospective - Great Idea, Terrible Execution
Переглядів 397 тис.11 місяців тому
I tried scouring the internet to find anything about how the DreamSMP fell off, but nothing that I found really gave me a clear answer. This is a retrospective of my favorite Minecraft SMP that answers the question: How could something with so much passion and support behind it fail this badly? We'll go over the genius decisions that made the server so successful and go over how those very same...
The MrBeast-ification of Minecraft Youtube

btw all the people in the intro are different. I caught quite a bit of smoke in my ish video from the creators that I used as an example to highlight the staleness of Minecraft civilization. But in this video, I want all the smoke, as Minecraft UA-cam as a whole keeps getting worse by the minute, but why? In a game where the only limit is your imagination, why do so many creators make the same ...
This is how SpeedSilver made Minecraft Manhunt Better
Переглядів 146 тис.Рік тому
SpeedSilver's 100 player tournament videos are massive improvements on Minecraft Manhunt, but how? Well first, we need to look back at the successes of Dream's Minecraft Manhunt, as well as its weaknesses. In this video that tries to parody video essays, we will be going over where Silver succeeds where others have failed. 00:00 - Intro 00:58 - The Successes of Minecraft Manhunt 01:25 - The Lim...

The most Annoying Child in Minecraft Youtube - TommyInnit's Strategy for Success
Переглядів 9 тис.Рік тому
In this video that's a parody of a SunnyV2 and other video essayists, I analyze what TommyInnit did to become one of the most successful Minecraft UA-camrs ever, from his time on Hypixel Skyblock with Tubbo, to the SMPEarth, to the DreamSMP and his collaboration with Dream and Minecraft Manhunt, to his Funniest Mod Videos and his collaborations with Jschlatt, Slimecicle, Technoblade, Philza, Wi...

What’s the Gigguk montage song
I would love to see Ish make civilization video with few Create mod's i think lore possible to make with it would be just...
I watched the full series of animation vs animator, Minecraft, geometry, math, physics.... And it's simple to understand what and why this happened
igobylotsofnames also makes cool civilisation videos (although only 2 lol)
I disagree. Having multiple stories in one was better because people can just watch their favorite streamer.
0:08 Ish is truly the Re:Zero of Minecraft civilization
15:32 The boat has had enough with Dreams antics
The glazing is HARD, but its understandable because of how amazing these animations are
for the record, the second coming as u call him is actually named orange, duh
Even though Alan Becker is very popular, has millions of subscribers and views, he always seemed underground as i had nobody to discuss him with. Amazing video man
The basics is that they needed to develop better B Plots, and bring them forward. For instance, what else was REALLY going on while Dream was in prison? Sure, we HEARD about Quackity going off, and we HEARD about Tubbo building his patch, but what did we actually SEE? It just kept coming back to Dream and the "Book" that could bring back the dead. They sorta had a thing going on with BBH, but it never felt like it was really anything until it was suddenly the end of the server. So for instance, Techno. The man who burned down L'Manburg multiple times, the ultimate anarchist. I wanted to see his Syndicate expand, and grow beyond what was manageable as a commune, challenging his steadfast hold on Anarchism as more and more people, some old, some new, start showing up to his area. Does he embrace a new philosophy, or does he push off into the unknown? They needed a Romance of the Three Kingdoms type setup. So yeah, you have the once great empire of Manburg, and it falls, splintering into factions. Tommy and Tubbo form their smaller community with guys like Ghostbur, Nihachu, and a couple of others (Shu, Liu Bei's kingdom, a place to build "a world without suffering"), forming up the Blue Banner. Quackity, Fundy, and a few others form up Las Nevadas (Wu from Romance of the Three Kingdoms) with a Red Banner, with Dream, Sapnap, and their group forming up their own kingdom (Wei), under the Green Banner. Techno's band is basically Lu Bu, operating outside of any of the kingdoms, and mostly showing up as needed by story to ramp things, or to break up any snowballing. Breaking up the groups would've allowed for more centralized stories to be told, with videos being released under the heading of each of the three kingdoms. This would've built the lore slowly after the "Season Finale" where Manburg is ultimately destroyed. Each of the Kingdoms form around an ideal, with New Manburg forming a Kingdom of Heroes, while Las Nevadas forms up around trading, and Dream's kingdom is built around trying to get enough power together to take back control. So the audience can pick its own flavor, allowing for more episodic stories where people can have various interactions, screw around, and build off of one another until a larger plot pushes a "crossover" event that brings everyone back in.
gotta love em jjk references man.
Yoo
i got groomed by one of the members in the fandom. that’s why i’m terrified of the fandom and i never want anything to do with the fandom again.
Hermitcraft got my attention again after the disc saga. The Life Series and season 8 were around this time, Moon Big and all that. The Hermit/Empires crossover was also big. They regained my attention and kept it.
I'm so glad that technology has evolved so much that I can watch youtube without even knowing English and thanks to that I was able to watch this video
Good addition playing chirp on the outro 🗣️🗣️ that’s always been my favorite Minecraft disc, but now hearing it at the end of AVM30 it added another layer of story to the song. Alan you’re the goat keep it up. And this was a great video Nosher 🙌🏾

21 SERIES
8:08 is the most massive detriment to all that is entertaining and "authentic" today. As a recent Food Theory also said, everything made into a corporation must chase infinite growth, as the livlihoods of people would make any form of offense or ridiculous fun "ragebait", "investor-scaring", "bad PR", and so much more "evil", chaining morality to creativity. I dont even need to touch the four letter W word, as anything and everything a person could do could be and has been used to take anyone down. Also, imo, I hate how people would connect captions of dialouge and 99% of editted effects on videos to being MrBeast slop, something that I cannot just blame on you. No matter how well the audio is managed, and what editting software is used, it will always be frustrating to not be able to understand what a person is saying, and personally, watching the same doofus staring at a camera for long stretches doesn't really give the "implicit social cues" to "lip read" their thoughts better. (Thats why I love video essays and analysis like yours, that don't just show a looping gif, a block of text, or a worthless yapping face. 11:00 is such a breath of fresh air in opinion, as life shouldn't be a never-ending sprint, nor a stoic and treacherous marathon)
i am utterly flattered by this video essay. you've put into words what I could not (which may be part of the reason I rarely use words) i've got to give credit where it's due: terkoiz did all choreography for monster school, the witch, KO vs herobrine and all other fights that happen in the nether, as well as that fight in The Box fordz did most of the choreography for lucky block staff, including the boat scene, and the chef fight scene skim came up with the idea for lucky block staff episode and wrote most if not all of the fight scenes. in terms of my typical involvement in these fight scenes, I typically tell the animator who fights who, the powers/movesets of each character, and the general storyline of the fight. they do the rest. oh and lol ty for the feedback about the music levels. that's a fair point
you are NOT alan little bro
no whithout the loud music its no longer an alan vid like if you agree
