Grateful to God to have a job, but each day I'm not working is definitely better than a work day. Take care & God bless. Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. ✝🕊
I got laid off at june, ever since then.I implemented a strict budgeting strategy to track expenses and set clear limits, while also focusing on a smart investment approach. In just six months, my investments grew by over $80,000, boosting my savings and financial confidence. This combined strategy has set me on track to achieve my long-term financial goals.
I love the steelers pumpkin !! 👍👍 go steelers!!
My husband passed away May 14th 2 hours and 22 minutes past our 24 year wedding anniversary. He we were collectors of stuff. Then I got sick and he took over. Itscnow a house or it's really a horde. I am alone with no kids or friends living in Louisiana to help me. I've had 7 people I paid in the past months. Each one has ripped me off. I am so depressed I don't know how to start. I even had a u-haul representative at the scheduling depth cancel my reservation because I had changed my appointment so out of spite they way they do things in Louisiana she canceled it. She even told me I'm canceling your reservation so don't ask any more questions. Now I'm afraid of her. I am overwhelmed.
The process of mourning so true. The sentimental stuff is the hardest. Thank you for this video.

You are a good daughter to go see your parents. They are blessed to have such loving daughters.
Thank you! We’re blessed to still have them around to visit also! ♥️🙌🏻

Love Erie! I grew up in Erie. The winters are magical there!
👍 lights look good and I love how y’all are literally experiencing Christmas already with the heavy snow!! I wish but i don’t think we will be getting snow any time soon 😢
So much snow! It is nice fort he holidays, for sure! Hope you get some too!
Good suggestion to roll up the clothes. I will do this next month when we get out of Dodge to a hopefully warmer climate 😊.
Yes, it helps so much! Hope you do get some warmth and sun! ☀️

We still haven't had much snow here in North Shuswap British Columbia Canada. We usually get tons of snow.

Hi Jody, what is the cream you put in the coffee? I am watching this in bits and pieces while on my breaks . Enjoying your channel. Have a good day!
I make homemade whip cream with whipping cream, powdered sugar and some vanilla. It’s so good and makes the coffee feel more special. Lol
Love the dogs❤. They bring such happiness, and motivation to get out and go for a walk.
They definitely do! ❤
Snow here in MN too. (Last night.)
I don’t know whether to thumbs up or down your comment. Depends on if you like the snow. 😆
@@jodi-lynn -- I grew up in the snow. It's always beautiful to have an untouched white blanket covering everything. (It's the slippery driving that I don't like.) I gave your first comment and thumbs up. 😉👍
@@MegaSkills9 I actually enjoy driving in it but not so much the slush. I get that!
I am so glad you explained your process. I have been retired for a few years now. I was working as an RN for 37 years. While loving the patients, I often HATED the environment. I changed jobs quite a number of times over those years. I did love many of my fellow workers but often management SUCKED. I often wondered how I could be a better fit in each environment. When, in reality it wasn't me at all. Thank you so much for making me see clearly why I was so frustrated. I was often tired - 12 hour shifts - but then I had 3 young children at home - young teens. In addition, my husband was not very helpful. I felt caught between a rock and a hard place. Now my children are grown and have lives of their own. In retrospect, I wonder if all the efforts were worth it. I am convinced that the kids didn't really appreciate my work. They have nearly turned their backs on me in my older years. I am 78 now. I live a life far away from them. I do enjoy my solitude actually. I guess now I am living my best life.
Yes! I am definitely interested in doing the decluttering challenge. I have entirely too much stuff and I need to get rid of it. Some things have sentimental value and I'm having a hard time getting rid of it. However, I know I need to because I have nowhere to put it. Thanks for sharing this video. I am a new subbie and am looking forward to watching your future videos. Be blessed!

@@Minnesota_Girl-m6z thank you so much! And good for you! That’s awesome and so good to hear!
I'm only 32 but I think it's great that you made this video where you can discuss the topic without going to the patronizing or ridiculing way of talking about it (like when someone buys a motorbike and starts wearing leather and their family is laughing / cringing about it). This is clearly a serious issue that happens to a lot of people. Like sure, there can be outer signs, but I think a lot of people have this internally without showing it to anyone very much, and it just seems really taboo to actually talk about it seriously. I think many people have made big life decisions early in life because they were "supposed to" and only come to realize who they actually want to be much later in life.
Yes! Such great points. Thank you so much! I hope opening the door to discussion of it is helpful to others as well. It can be a pretty big deal in some people’s lives.
Are you the one with the motorcycle? If so, that is Fantastic! I bought my first motorcycle at age 50. Riding motorcycle is so freeing.
@@Minnesota_Girl-m6z Oh I wish! No but my uncles are all motorcycle people now, seems to happen around the age 49 in this family, so I will probably do that eventually too haha

okay, i;m a lot older man who divorced in my early mid life (prime time for a man)... anyway, ended up dating a LOT of mid life women going through this same circumstances... here's the deal that i witnessed... none of them were happy with their decisions that caused them to be where they were at... their kids felt awkward around them, they went from having a lot of friends and fulfillment at work to being angry and bitter and out doing some really risky crazy stuff.,and wasted money and time on really some stupid stuff.. so i tried to understand what was going on, why were they all this way and maybe help them work through the crap... well, i was never able to figure it out... but here's the deal, most of the guys that are divorced all have the same crazy ideas as well... SO, here's my advice to everyone, stop doing the "re-inventing yourself", that's all a fantasy and it's not reality... do this instead...set rational short goals and routines (like read that book/novel, exercise 30 minutes daily and a weekend jog/walk with a group) and build some longer term goals (financial freedom, community projects, write that novel etc)... anyway, don't run off into some stupid relationship that's going to be empty or quit your job/career, or cry in front of your family or get angry at them or start drinking or sky diving is the answer.... what is the answer is that being your own person means having your own goals and responsibilities and if you don't take care of those goals and responsibilities then time will pass you by... be kind, just, honest, passionate about doing and caring... you'll be happier and healthier... trust me on that... anyway, hope your path is good... breathe in, let it out, smile and take a step forward and then another
Thank you for this thoughtful comment. I love the idea of setting short goals and some longer term and I do have that in place. Now if I can just stick with them...that'll be great! :)
@@jodi-lynn well, i could give a plan on that ... but i'm pretty sure you're smart and knowledgeable enough to figure out how to track/journal it all... now get at it and see the progress

You had a nice time working remotely from home, in your garden, with coffee in the sun and you still complain …? I am a nurse and as thousands other nurses and doctors we worked in hospitals - not remotely- we had to wake up and get our asses at 5 o’clock or earlier out of the bed an GO to work. GO ! Did you ever think about these people??? I don’t think so… And you - as millions of office workers, who had a nice time at home 2,3 or 4 years - you are still complaining??! I just think that people like you are just lazy - the whole crowd of office workers (who are apparently dispensable for the functionality of societies) People like you - you've got used (in the time of cov…) to the comfort of home and now you don't feel like going back to work. Hence these constant repetitions in your video - “I like work, I like working “- so that people don't think you just don't feel like going to work Greetings from Europe
Great tips! Smart women
Thank you so much! 😊
Fuck work.
I had a few good managers. I can could count them on one hand. Most managers don’t manage people they just useless dictators trying to enforce childish rules. Half of managers where fired at the company I worked after staff became so sick of their petty bullying. The company decided to bring in an outside company to investigate high staff turnover. They came to the conclusion that they were overpaid morons which only demotivates staff. I was happy to see half of them sent packing.
Bad managers can ruin everything. I'm sorry you went through that experience but glad to hear the company cleaned it up a bit.
Such a great explanation of that weird feeling, like "why do I hate this job so much? I don't hate the work, the place, or the people... so why do I feel so drained, annoyed, hateful, exhausted, stressed??"
Thank you so much! It's not a great feeling. :(
I agree with you whole heartedly. I'm tired of working for other people, on their schedules, trying to care about the things they want me to care about. I'm working on building my own businesses and youtube page. Love this content. Thanks for sharing.
That's so good to hear that you're building your own business and channel as well! Thank you!

Oh no. The plant thing would make me cry too 😢 just one of those “little” things that sets you over the edge!
Yes! I had had enough....LOL!
I too have taken a “George costanza” nap at work 😅
@daniellemcclellan9159 reiterate of my 2nd comment . Birds of a feather flock together !
Thanks for the video. I can completely relate. I ended up leaving a company I truly enjoyed working for. The boss was great, the culture was positive, and I found the work fulfilling. But after Covid, they required us to be in the office three days a week, which I found frustrating. I was exceeding expectations and thriving while working remotely, so there was no real reason to be in the office other than their preference. Although I tried to adapt, I ultimately realized remote work was essential for my quality of life. It was a tough decision, but I started exploring other opportunities and eventually left, which was heartbreaking because I loved the job and the people I worked with.
Too bad. It sounded like a good deal.
I am a nurse and worked all the cov… time in hospital- not at home… But you know what? I think I leave this business because working from home make my life so much easier We all nurses leave this stupid and frustrating job with patients at hospital - and stay at home - and work remotely- this is so much better for the quality of my life… And the patients..? Maybe you one day… who cares?! I just want an easy and cozy life at home. I just don’t want to care about patients any more because this is so frustrating…! Greetings from Europe
@@justinaoska5901 Thank you for sharing your perspective. I can only imagine how challenging it must have been to work in a hospital through such a difficult time, and I have a lot of respect for what nurses have endured. My experience was a bit different since my work could be done remotely, and making the shift back to the office was unnecessary for my role. Finding the right balance between work and quality of life can be hard, especially after everything that’s changed over the past few years. Wishing you the best as you navigate what’s best for your well-being too.
It's so difficult to leave a job where we love the people...but in the end, yeah, we have to do what is best for us. Glad you took the leap!
Well, first, thank you for doing what you've been doing and taking care of others! That is something I could not do so I give you all the credit! But I understand wanting the more flexible, comfortable life at home as well. Totally!
