Great review guy's i'm a big Turkey fan but can't justify the big $ for Russell's 13 or 15. I'll stick with Rarebreed and the Single barrels.

Blanton's is overrated, watered down dog. Anyone who thinks otherwise has the tastebuds of someone who eats cat litter. The name is all people care about but the juice is garbage. They just constantly pump out water downed product and slap, eagle rare, blantons, buffalo trace, and the idiots flock to it thinking its going to be high quality. It isn't, I've had 10x better with other products.

My go to summer pour

We all know a single barrel only brand is going to differ wildly. I like it well enough, but now that I have all letters (from the regular Blanton's), not sure I need more until I'm down to one. I do have an unopened Straight from the Barrel that will be opened this year. I still go with John J Bowman when I see that. Thanks for the review, guys!

Just picked up a bottle of the barrel proof @ 126. The burn for me was at the back end. Pretty delicious.

The single barrel barrel proof jacks are incredible but I’ll say this the ones I have that are over 130 have been exceptional. I had one that was just over 138 it drank like a 100 proof with tons of flavor just incredible

I absolutely love the JDSBBP. I'm on bottle number 3 in 6 months. It's been 30 plus years since I've had any Jack, but now they seem to be on point. If you can't find the 10 or 12 year, this is really the best alternative and maybe better depending on the barrel selection. Anything over 130 proof is where it's at! Great review!

I bought this bottle because it was on sale at my local store for $45. I enjoy the nose and mid-palate, but for me there was a bitter taste on the finish that I did not enjoy. I think I am going to let it sit for a little bit and come back to it. Thanks for the review!

I just traded this today for a JD 12 and a ECBP C923. I really feel like I made the right call. Sometimes secondary is just wrong.

have not had any Holladay, but hear good things about the RIckhouse proof. I will have to keep an eye out for this one for sure. cheers. ALso just subbed.
