This was my closest kfc funny enough the store across the street is an old kfc too

The Mcdonalds left this old location many years ago I'd say sometime in the early 00s they relocated down the road to the northfield plaza I'm actually surprised this is still here great find!

Omg at 4:20 the red and white tile inside was part of the old 60s building! That was the rear end of the original building and the area that is curved and not tiled was where part of the big golden arch on the exterior used to be on each side. Back then they'd keep the rear parts of those buildings where the kitchen area was and build around them when they were remodeled, unlike today they totally demolish something and build a new plain shoebox design. If they are tearing this down which I hope not try to get piece of that red/ white tile as it's original to the Drive-In design of McDonald's starting from 1953-60s era.

This was an old Mcdonalds. And actually this location was an original Golden Arch styled McDonald's in the 60s. Had the big Arch sign last thats proof it was the original styled building before it was remodeled to this even.

What's uuuup! "The Colonel" would be rolling over in his grave at the reviews on almost ALL of his restaurants. Even here in CT the people are not happy with service or products. So, I'm not surprised to see the closing, sad as it is. Don't know if you have them there, but here, we have Crispy Crunchy Chicken, which to me, kicks the pants off of KFC. We call it Garage Chicken, because most are refurbished service garages or are affiliated with some sort of gas/service station. Anyway, thanks for another cool walk around! Be careful out there! Sad they’re all closing. You should check out the old Mangos restaurant on W 1st street nearby. It used to be a Ryan’s Buffet originally, then a seafood restaurant, then a local restaurant and then Mangos. Next door used to be a Tumbleweed however that’s all boarded up.
