Question I checked the rubber line is clear and replaced the pressure switch still blinking 2 code any suggestions thanks
Thank you for this info! I had this issue and discovered a blockage of that ashy residue in the nipple in my draft motor housing. Saved a service call!
Thank you, just fixed the furnace by reconnecting the tube to the switch. i guess it reset the pressure to start it right up. Thank you for saving time, money and feeling stupid 😂
You save me my friend. Thanks
Worked, thank you!
Very helpful, definitely saved me time and money
I replaced my pressure switch and hose. Still have 3 flashing LED. Switch was 25 hose was 9.
Thanks for the help
Interesting. Could’ve done without the music.
Thank you for your video, it helped me to figureout. My furnace is working now. Drinage was durty.
Man, this just saved me a whole ton of time and money. Although my switch is different, I disconnected the line going to it and found some moisture there. After carefully drying it out and reconnecting, the system fired right up. Like and subscribed. Cheers!
could you draw a diagram on what's happening the the switch? what's closing? and is the thing that's closing inside the black thing or inside the tube? and which way is the air blowing?
You just saved me about $200.00.
The tap worked . God bless you 😂
you also should check if inducer is producing enough pressure for that pressure switch to close sometimes is a low rpm inducer.
Excellent instructions. My house is now heating up again.
It was the tap for me. THANK YOU!!!!
You just saved me and my family $150 and a cold night. Thank you!!
Brother…Christmas morning and you got me out of a jam
What does it mean if the fan runs after turning the unit off but not while the unit is on, set to Heat. Tried taping and cleaning but still 3 blinks red
My heat wouldn’t come on and after searching my furnace and model number, I had found how to read the code. Next I searched the code on UA-cam and found this video. I did exactly what the tech said to try and it worked!!!!! Many Thanks to you!!!!! So much appreciated!!!!!
THANK YOU!!!! I’d looked up everything I could think of and then came across this and it worked immediately!!!! Thank you so much!!!
Thank you kind man! 😂 I seriously doubted just tapping it would work but here I am in my warm house just by tapping on the pressure switch! 🤙🏼
Thank you so much! It was a buildup of water in my hose leading to/from the switch. Just drained it and restarted the system. Good as new!
I blew out the dust out of my furnace with an air compressor and now my pressure switch is staying open and furnace won't run
Thanks for the advice! Tapped the pressure switch a few times and she's running again blowing warm air. Think I will order a new pressure switch just in case though!
This video helped......also found a bird behind my motor once i tapped the pressure switch and it kicked on..lmao
Many thanks for posting this; you really made a difference and helped me out.
Tapped on the switch. Now it works. lol. Thank you.
I wish I knew what fixed mine. It was blinking 3 lights for open. I checked the drain, found a bit of water in a larger line from the exchanger to the exhaust had a bit of water in it, but not much. Took the switches off of the bracket, removed and blew through the tubes, all good. Nothing to be seen in the ports on the switch. Put it back together, same thing. Turned the thermostat up to 25, cycled it once, same thing. I had given up and pressed the door button one last time to confirm my failure and it worked! Not knowing what fixed it is almost worse than it being still broken.
Went through a ton of videos. Error 43 - Bryant Evolution - turrned off for 2 minutes at least, tapped the switch, pulled the tubes and stuck the Allen wrench in, and heat again. Thank you.
I did exactly what you said and stuck a small allan wrench in the hole. Fired right up! Thanks!!
I have a york diamond 80 furnace, I replaced the igniter the filter and still doesn't work it's blowing cold but the it's not igniting no fire Please help...does the thermostat have anything to do with it Thank you
My lennox was throwing pressure codes, i replaced it but am still having the same issue. It starts and runs, then randomly will shut down
Make a video
Thank you for the video clip. It really helped me.
I might be wrong, usually if there are 2 pressure switches, that means that the furnace is a 2 stage furnace. Also, I disconnected the house from wherever it leads to and I gently sucked and blew on it. You can hear a faint click.
Would you recommend a follow up service to replace the switch after the fact? Your tip helped me to have a warm house!! Much appreciated.
I just got my York to fire up after sucking on the hoses to the switches. Got them to click and now it works! I'll order new pressure switches. 2 days before Christmas as usual.
Thanks, tapping the pressure switch worked.
Thank you! I whacked the switch with a spoon and it works now! You saved me hundreds of dollars!
Thank you!! This helped me get my furnace up and going while I wait for someone to come give it a once over, and that can’t happen for a week or so.
Thank you, liked and subscribed! One question though, can a dirty furnace filter cause a pressure switch malfunction indication on the circuit board? I really appreciate you taking the time to make these helpful videos!
I was wondering the same!
Thank you sir truly appreciate it !!!
Thanks! After watching 20 videos where everyone just recommends to replace the pressure switch, the genius in this video recommends to just tap on it a bit to see if you can get it to reset if it's stuck open or closed. And it worked!
I have a Miller furnace, and it has two small gray rubber hoses going to a vent pipe. I took em off and blew on em, tried tapping on it and still nothing. I'm getting a pressure switch stuck open code on mine it's two beeps. I have yet to see a furnace like mine being diagnosed. My home is 15 years old, so the furnace itself is kind of old but isn't.
Thank you for the step by step breakdown! Much appreciated!
Thank you!!!!!
Thanks so much, this was really helpful and worked for me!!!
