I have grown to love Nassau over the years; yes, the taxi drivers and straw market vendors can be demanding, but the new port arrangement is much more organized and not as hectic. Walk 10-15 minutes to the Queen's Staircase and Fort Fincastle for a lovely hilltop view. Check out the Nassau Public Library, in a 18th century octagonal jail (they have a museum on the upper floors). Next trip, I'm going to the National Art Gallery of the Bahamas, and to Graystone Hotel for a cocktail.

We have 2 cruises booked after recently taking our first in an inside. On each of the three cruises, a balcony would have been 2.5 times as expensive. So if we waited for balconies, we would not have gone on one cruise

Oceanview room gives me comfort but I will try interior for the hell of it. I had balcony but majority of the time I was never in my room unless I was changing clothes, took a nap and showered so it was a waste of money buying a balcony in my case.

My family gets on interior cabin and a balcony cabin, so we can have a balcony while saving some money

I don’t understand how anyone who has had a balcony could ever go back to an interior state room. I’ve never had an interior state room, and I can’t envision it as a possibility for me.

I’ll bet most people staterooms switch from cruise to cruise, based on their budgets, destination, and family/group size. If a good deal happens with a balcony or ocean view or interior stateroom, so be it.

I love interior rooms. Absolute darkness. And just seem quieter. Or I've always gotten lucky with where my room was. Low and midship. This time will be after. So we will see. And to be honest I like to save money where I can so I have more for other things.

I will never understand why people do that in pools. And NO it's not always a baby or child. Nasty adults

Melissa, I was checking out your content and your website. I am going on a free cruise my 7th free cruise actually with a cruise line I noticed you don't seem to sail with or recommend. I am referring to NCL. I even noticed on your website you don't have any guide to their private Island Great Stirrup Cay or Harvest Caye in Belize. What do you have against Norwegians ships and private Islands. If you are going to recommend travel and cruise should you not atleast experience all of them during your every 4 to 6 week trips??

Went on a cruise lay year. Passengers in the cabin next to mine completely tore up that cabin. First night, I ignored it. Second night it was so bad I was afraid....calling each other peasants, cun**, etc. I could tell their color.

ABC Islands are a must see, beautiful places to visit. I stayed in Bermuda twice and the beaches are lovely. I will be cruising from NY to Bermuda during the Memorial Day weekend. They are offering a 4 night cruise. 😊 Yes, I'm scheduled for 7/20/24 on the Celebration going to Celebration Key. I concur, I don't like the tender process. I generally stay on the Ship those days

The first thing you should do on ALL CRUISES is to go to your muster station. Get it done so you can be safe and enjoy your cruise to the full extent! 😊
