If I book a cruise and then the TA doesn’t work out and I become inactive. Do I still get that commission?

My first cruise was in August 1985. An older widow was cruising with her paid assistant in a penthouse suite. Unfortunately both had issues with alcohol but she had fully stocked the bar. Near the end of the cruise he snapped or something and bashed her head in with a liquor bottle while she was sleeping. The cabin stewardess found them not long after and eventually he was turned over to the feds when we disembarked in San Francisco.

Hi, I admire your ability to take monthly cruises. I recently returned from a five-day Royal Caribbean cruise on the Allure of the Seas, my fifth cruise overall. Honestly, I wasn't thrilled about going, but my 17-year-old son wanted to cruise with his friend, so I joined for supervision. The highlight of my trip was disembarking in Miami - I was eager to escape the crowds. With around 7,000 people on board, I found the close quarters overwhelming. I'm fairly active and in good shape, but unfortunately, I was struck by the number of unhealthy passengers.

Here is a neat fact. Pool chlorine has little smell until it reacts with ammonia. Ammonia, found in sweat and urine, reacts with chlorine to form chloramines. Chloramines are responsible for the pools scent.

Even if they changed it every hour I still would NEVER use a cruise ship pool and also no hotel pool. NOPE NOT DOING IT

Our last cruise, in November 2024 on the Miracle, we got sideswiped by Hurricane Rafael. Had to skip port in Grabd Cayman. Then leaving Ocho Rios we were being chased by Tropical storm Sara. We watched it form. I have some gorgeous sunset videos. ❤❤

I’m an older lady. In 😂My generation the only people that had tattoos were convicts. Well mostly. So most people my age don’t understand or like them. Personally I’m thinking about getting a tramp stamp on my lower back/upper buttocks so when I go into a nursing home the staff have something to look at when they wash my butt! 😂😂😂😂😂

I have my first ever cruise coming up soon in April (celebrity beyond). Since Im running solo, I will be preordering everything (bottle water/soda for the cooler). Just wondering if I should go with a medium/large suitcase. I will be choosing to board closer to the time where rooms are open, so I wont need to tug everything around for a long time.

We went to Hawaii for a cruise and found that we could save enough money on the airfare by landing on Wed as opposed to Friday, that it paid for the hotel room!!! We got two more days in Hawaii FOR FREE!!!

I don't mean to be in your pockets but how much is a private driver I'm disabled and can't walk far but want to see more than the port my fiance wants authentic food we can eat tacos on the ship

My hubby had a shirt that had flamingos and pineapples all over it so some of those were upside down. It wasn't super obvious, but he was propositioned several times so now he won't wear that shirt at all (except for around the house). So I totally understand why Carnival is banning them. LOTS of people have NO clue what the upside down pineapple means to a certain group of people (my hubby had no clue).
