Potato Harvest 2021: At the Cellar
Hello Everyone!
Here is a sample of how we unload, sort, and pile our Idaho Potatoes. Our potato harvest takes 3-4 weeks in September and October. With careful handling and proper storage we can keep the potatoes in the cellar for many months until it is their turn to be boxed for the retail market or processed into a variety of tasty frozen products such as fries, tater tots, or hash browns.

Here is some video of field operations during potato harvest 2021. The tractors first pull windrowers through the field. The two windrowers dig 4 rows of potatoes each and place them on the ground between rows of undug potatoes.
