Neither ac1 is cheap garbage and the spiritus is just way over priced and for some autistic reason u have to by the whole setup part by part (front bag, rear bag, etc)

I used to set up my tourniquets like that until I realized slipping it over a mangled extremity still attached to your body would be pretty difficult. But then again in that context I was worried about explosives instead of gsw's. Dope vid

I did the AC1 with my DC3RM pouch, warfighter cummerbund and have it compacted. There is the Spiritus Thing 2 that you can combo with to have more front carry

For what Ive heard, the mesh on the AC1 is for having various types of plates (not all of them) For instance, different manufacturers and sizes soy the mesh can expand. So the ventilation effect might be "placebo" in first place. I have ferro slickster and has completly mesh panel and i sweat a lot even so.
