Marianne and Mick were bad choices for each other, but then I think Mick is a bad choice for most women (unless you're a Nicaraguan heiress with no worries). She has proven to be very strong and resilient, and she's still gorgeous and a great artist, I profoundly admire her.

I think it’s very interesting how artists like them were not truly seeking fame and recognition, they simply got it because they had a spark to them. Yet so many artists these days try so hard to impress the public and each other at every turn, and it ends up feeling not quite real.
