I always look forward to your reviews on movies! 😂😂😂 #Aries
His best work was acrimony🤔
His lack of character development is crazy. He doesn't understand the difference between theater and actual filmmaking. There is never any character development. He skips that and expects us to care about his character. Whatver he did in "A Family That Preys" needs to be redone and perfected. I'm convinced those veteran actors rewrote that script because they refused to be embarrassed.
Oh, my heck!! The BEST thing that has come out of me watching that....that....COMEDY - is that I have found Prof. Cinephile. I am laughing SO. HARD.
When you said “Tyler Perry Knows his Base”, it really clicked. He really doesn’t care about the critiques. He has loyal fans from the black church/community that will always support him 🤦🏾♀️
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The 1/2 heart just for the character in another film took me out lmfaooooo you should make a TP Bingo card or drinking game for his movies if you have to watch it all the way through 🥴
You've watched EVERY Tyler Perry movie?!? I'm once again amazed at your fortitude...thank you for this offering, which basically reinforces my decision to never engage with his work again LOL
Not fortitude 😂 that’s some nasty work 😭
I refuse to watch his films and your description solidifies why I shouldn't. Madea was more than enough then he decided to branch out. Just.... No. 😂
Not sure why you think you can speak for all white women because I’ve loved Jennifer throughout her entire career, regardless of what role she was playing or what lane she was in. NYC Jlo, Hood Jlo, PDiddy’s Jlo, whatever. She lost me as a fan when those stories started coming out about her being such a Karen. Also, Beyoncé is not a “creative” she’s a great singer & dancer but doesn’t write music, play music or create the music.
JLo is eye candy, that’s why she succeeded, talented no! Rhiannon is the complete package, talent and beauty❤
A good mockumentary is This is Spinal Tap.
it was ehh okay. I didn’t finish it so it was okay to me. Now that tina tuner movie with ya girl angela basset she killed tina. also can you make a video on tyler perry acrimony with taraji p henson
i’m so looking forward to your review for his new movie lol or just the review from the trailer. I’m not watching his new movie with megan good the trailer is horrible lol But you were great you hit the nail on everything. Tyler cinematography is so cheap I hate it so much. His writing is subpar he makes me cringe.
Im new here and had to subscribe I love your personality thank you for your honest commentary ❤️🫶🏽 🍷
Interesting 🌎
I thought we we’re gonna get an alien invasion origin story too, so in that I was disappointed as well. It was more in line with the way Cloverfield was structured and it’s soft sequel. This is set in the Quiet Place verse but otherwise it’s a just a story about her dealing with her last days. The fact that these are also the last days of humanity at large seems like a coincidence. Interesting but not satisfying for either scifi or horror. It also "reads" as a tragic love story with NYC. I mean the I<3NY bag alone, and her obsession with old Harlem to the bombing of the bridges. The cat did A Lot too. This was his film as much as Lupita’s. I agree with your mixed feelings. I liked it, but it felt like this script wasn’t enough.
R E S P E C T (Aretha Franklin). There is a special place in hell for women who bully other women who do their job and mind their own business. "Jennifer acts like a white woman" is racist. So how do white women act in your opinion? They hold the wine glass different? Now let us participate from your "wisdom". Racism is racism in both directions. You can't sugarcoat it.
This movie was more than just entertainment. It is delivering a specific message to those who are in the know to keep quite about a very ancient past. The aliens depected in this film is a representation of something else. Lupita was specifically chosen for this role based on her physical characteristics. Not taking anything away from Lupita as she is a phenomenal actress. She was needed for this role as it would not have worked for any other actor, especially if they didn't have dark features or kinky hair. On the surface, this movie was crud compared to the other two.
I guess, me being a white person....I'd rather people be themselves all together. Rather than actin like that here or that there. People who are fake or not themselves? Not even a little
This white girl always thought she was overrated. Some talent but mostly hype. Great review, tho, girl. Keep them coming. 👍👍 “Girl. We don’t care” I need to use this line in real life 😂
I’m a new subscriber as of today I love ur voice ❤ and ur beautiful 😍
1. She is a narcissist. 2. She thought Bennifer 2.0 made her relevant again 3. It’s not the early 2000’s. It’s been 20 years 4.The collective memory moves on to the next thing real quick She tried too hard, and too big. This was supposed to be her big comeback, but Ben didn’t want any of that. She didn’t care about his personal boundaries. She changed the rules after they wed. I thought her and Puff were a stunt. She was corny as hell and trying to be “hood”. I’m a white girl, and I am not the only white person who loves rap, r&b, and hip hop of the late 90’s early 2000’s. We were waving our Rollie’s to the sky like we WERE from the hood. lmao 😂
What exactly is the big deal about being "from the Bronx"??? Why is that a thing? I find nothing special about the Bronx. Its just a neighborhood in a big city. And what WP like JLo?? Did someone actually tell you that? Thats a huge assumption
I'm guessing it's the majority of her film making that's mostly mainstream and caters to that particular demographic; in most of her films, she plays a Caucasian woman... When it comes to her music, that's her J.Lo persona and that persona always reps The Bronx.
Very ratchet and hostile people in the Bronx, stay away! Aggressive and hostile AF for NO REASON!
She's more WAAAY more talented than Taylor Swift. The only song she has that I like is, "waiting for Tonite."
“My favorite Jlo songs are when she’s not singing” 💀💀💀
She's not a good actress or a good singer. She is all about being a diva. She is overdressed 98% of the time. She is not relatable.
It gave me mid life crisis meets Xanadu. She is a little too old to make this type of film.
It is a documentary about a narcissistic woman😂
Not aggressive impressive😂
Im so glad you were not sober
Greatest love is ben in the story at all?
It is fair to have your own opinion. I did agree with it . Its mostly she is pretty that opened doors for her with men like puff daddy and tommy motola.
I loved the way you put together. Nothing but the truth.😅
I think people are gonna wanna see this crap just to see how bad it is.
I think she was trying to be like Michael jackson with very theatrical music movie and failed miserable. And have to say not a fan of recent choreography.
Her face holding in a laugh, sipping wine was funny.
yes pls do one abt Moonwalker ....mjfam will be watching ;-) and i really really hope you will do one for the MJ biopic in April 2025 ;-)
Jlo needs to learn to be by her self.
Yea…So she actually had the audacity to compare herself and her right terrorize us with that Netflix documentary to the genius of “PRINCE and PURPLE RAIN”…😂😂…ma’am help is still available
🎵🎵🎵🎵🇪🇹🎵🎵🎵🎵
I liked the movie
I really dont think JLo is a good actress?.... She did alright in Selena but thats it --- I cannot stand her acting because its just so bad. It's no secret that she cannot sing --- I think she is a great dancer --- and thats it.
I'm definitely a white girl and I have never liked JLo at ALLLLLLL.....!!!!
Thank you. I don't know where she got that BS from. I think she's assuming
I don't find the title remotely funny. Embarrassing yes. Funny, not even. Not getting my $
Have you reviewed They Cloned Tyrone?
J-lo has no talent and is a boring narcissist whose downfall is long overdue.
My thoughts are as someone who didn’t know a lot of Shirley Chisholm prior to this movie. By your comments, seems I still don’t lol, but still. I thought the movie was okay. It felt like it went by slow, likely due to it being dialogue-heavy. I also didn’t care for the accents. When non-Caribbeans do Caribbean accents, it always sounds like they’re mocking them. I wish there was just a little more focus on her journey to congresswoman, but I understand the focus was on her historic run for the Dem nomination. The scene between her and Huey P. Newton frustrated me because it came off like she was downplaying his work which was crazy to me! In all, glad I watched, but wouldn’t watch again.
It’s like Hollywood is trying to ease the audience into watching black movies when in fact, my generation (Gen X) gee up with The Jefferson’s, The Cosby Show, Sanford and Son. Was it just supposed to work for black people? Okay. Then white people aren’t going to see it.
Roots was a white-washed version of the true atrocities of slavery.
