i would really like to know which neck pickups paul masvidal used in the death-human album. his solos sound like they came out of a space ship, really looking to achieve that tone.
He used his Steinberger GR4R with Bareknuckle Miracle Man humbucker in the bridge and Trilogy Suite single coils in the middle and neck positions. Also, in 94 or 95 he installed an internal Roland synth pickup (actually Roland Gm70). As an amplifier he used A/DA MP-1 Preamp. I'm probably late with the answer, but I just found this video. I hope this information will help you.
@@kalkulatorrrHe used emgs and noiseless smth pickups back in 94, and he recorded human with his blue custom shop guitar as well, he used both steinberger and blue to record Human.

Not only make it your best friend but marry it. I honestly went too long never using one and realized the errors in my ways when I finally started to practice with it. It makes playing with a drummer light years easier as well as composing songs.
