He was a big enough talent to make a good living without bringing shame & disgrace on himself and bringing the game into disrepute. He had a Rolls Royce cue action & was a good match player. Such a good, entertaining player. Although Steve Davis was in a different league, as far as tactics, safety, and snookers, I think the most daring shots came from Jimmy White, Tony Meo and Alex Higgins. Jimmy, by the way, was very clever with his investments. He never frittered his money away and is a very wealthy man now. (About $25 million).

I always liked Jimmy white he was absolute magic when he wanted to be, and I think one of the best to ever play the game.

The difference between Jimmy White and Ronnie O'Sullivan is that Jimmy enjoyed the challenge. Jimmy enjoyed putting on a show for the fans and Ronnie cares more about his pocket book than his fans, Refusing to do a 147 break proves it. Jimmy is great for snooker and for the fans.

I would place him as a very close second to Ronnie in terms of sheer natural ability (they ALL practiced to an insane degree), with Alex an equally close third. Possibly my all-time favourite player; still sad he never won the World title but he won a ton of other titles, and did very well for himself out of it.

The first shot on the pink is just a fluke. They happen just as often for great players like Ronnie as other players. If you think that he meant to play for what happened then I doubt you have played the game to any standard . He couldn't pot the pink past the black so was hoping the pink would go off 2 cushions and back into the middle pocket at the bottom of the screen as we look. It didn't as he messed up and the white got in the way (not easy to judge) .
