Porsche Boxster (981) - A Euphoric Rhapsody
The Porsche Boxster has always been about simplicity and purity. And in an era of hybridization, turbocharging, and downsizing - the latter two of which its newer 982 twin suffers from - this base model 981 Boxster (~40000 USD as tested) retains the spine-tingling NA Flat 6 howl that Porsches are known for, while still looking like a current model. Couple that to a lightweight, mid-engine, rear-drive powertrain, and you’re looking at potentially one of the purest, most perfect sports cars you can actually buy for a reasonable price.

The Suzuki Hustler is an adorable and funky crossover designed to compete in the kei car class. While it may be incredibly basic, the 1st Generation Hustler offers immense versatility, practicality, and childlike fun in a package too cute not to love. So join me as we check out this 2016 Hustler X (~6000 USD as tested) and drive what could be one of the best city cars ever. Timestamps: Intro - ...
2013 Lexus GS 350 - Old But Gold
Переглядів 38 тис.Рік тому
The 4th and last generation Lexus GS never sold as well as its rivals, eventually getting discontinued in 2020. But as Lexus has demonstrated time and time again, they know how to build a car that lasts. So join me as we check out this 2013 GS 350 Ultimate (~10500 USD as tested) and see if it still lives up to its luxury and performance promises. Timestamps: Intro - 0:00 Exterior - 1:41 Interio...
that pioneer sounds nice with good speakers
Bought mines 4 years ago 2012 450h f sport and still love it no major issues bought at 53k milage now 83k milage. Just annoying I don’t have the hud display or power lift boot on mines. I get 39 mpg with mixed driving.
That’s amazing economy considering the power. Enjoy the car!
What an annoying pratt this reviewer is.
Do you think this car could be a good first car? Taking into account the maintenance and insurance costs
My recommendation depends on how much driving experience you have. If you are a beginner, I wouldn’t recommend this. This is a decently powerful RWD luxury car, which means 1, it could be unforgiving for a beginner to control in low traction situations (e.g. snow/rain), 2, it has many technological assistances like sensors and a rear camera which a beginner should not rely on regularly when learning and improving (the less assistance your car has as a beginner, the better), and 3, as a beginner you are more prone to making minor damage such as scratches which will be painful with a nice car like this. I’m not sure about insurance costs though because for a car this age, only third party insurance is offered for me in HK. Plus, our insurance costs are affected vastly by the number of years you’ve had your license. I would recommend buying a cheap beater car first and drive it regularly, then after you’ve mastered it, you can get a proper nice car. If you are an experienced driver already (i.e. you are comfortable driving a car without any driver aids and will simply be *helped* by the aids in this car and not rely on them), then go ahead. Maintenance is like a normal Toyota (but consumables will be more expensive than a Lexus using a FWD platform like an ES) so you won’t ever have to worry about it. Hope this helps!
What CarPlay system did you use and how do you like it?
I got the CarPlay system from here: www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003992580339.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.117.21ef1802buh1RO Eh, it’s ok. The main things I use it for are nav using Waze/Google Maps and for Spotify. For those purposes, it’s fine especially for the price. The CarPlay system integrates with the original OS and screen, but doesn’t work too well with the in-car controls since the cursor on the second screen also moves with the one on the CarPlay screen, and the joystick’s physical stops misalign with the cursor positions to click buttons on the CarPlay system. But Siri basically solves that issue when you want to control things when you’re moving, and you can always use your phone when stopped.
Scratchy plastic is 100% recyclable so it’s very good for the environment. Nice thought Suzuki 👏👏👏
parang jimny pero mas maliit, which is great light sa gas
3:50 That white Suzuki Every DA17V at the back though... Very nice too...
Don’t understand why these cars are not part of the U.K. offering.
Car for a gay couples.
So, basically a better S-presso.
I have a 2006 gs, but my next lexus defenedley a 4th gen gs
Not a frequent commenter or viewer, but have to admit your video production and quality is far far far better than the current leading reviewers. Absolutely fantastic
Thanks! You’re too kind :)
I have a 1968 mini. I think I fell in love with small cars after that, and then lived a few years in Rome and Paris, and Boeno Saires and Jakarta and I loved my small cars from Fiat, Peugeot, Citroen, Toyota i had at those places. I still have my mini in Stockholm. But more for fun than actually use it today.
Is it just me or it looks like mini fj cruiser? 😅
Surplus to?
Suzuki has Japan's DNA. Always forward thinking.
It's like a mini FJ.
How small cars should be.
Hustler looks cute !
Not gonna lie, my eyes saw Suzuki hitler when scrolling past the video hahahaha😂
This is exactly the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso in India! Comes with an 1.0 Litre Engine
We need more uploads!
I love this style of car, I really wanted to get a Scion xB as my first car but was given a freebie from my parents so can't complain
Those are pretty cool! We also get it in HK as the Corolla Rumion. Funky little things. What did you end up getting instead?
@Papa_POV parents gave me an 05 malibu SS, then when i saved my own money i bought a brand new 2017 civic ex-t (first owner 2 miles)
bro ur editing is so awesome man, gives me retro vibes i love it
Thanks!
Smol bronco with cuteness
Great video, love your format.
Thanks!
Almost all car reviews they don't really discuss about the ac. Why? For me that's one of the most important thing in choosing a car.
You just got another subsriber, man! Kudos! ❤
Thanks!
Ganda nito. Cute lang tingnan
Scary ah cat
A 718 is a 982. I said it. Acceptance is fundamental to not being a douche. It’s a 982.
Want updated video on this car!
As a fresh graduate… got myself a 2016 model 2018 registered used Hustler☺️ Truly happy with my choice.
Awesome! Enjoy the car :)
Unfortunately America has to have their big stupid SUVs and trucks I miss the days before the early 2000s when Americans still like small cars and wagons
Where is this? Australia?
It was filmed in Hong Kong around areas in Tung Chung and Sai Kung!
These videos are artificially inflating the price on these old cars with over 100K miles. I’m not paying $20 - $30K for any car over 20 years old and at or over 100K miles.
That’s why you buy when they are still in production. What do you expect the value is what it goes for.
@ the expectation is for price to depreciate with time, mileage and usage….economics 101 and common sense.
Why doesn’t anyone talk about the 2016 to 2020 models?
One the the best vehicles ever made! The athletic way that thing handles and performs you have an Olympic Champ. Pair that with the exceptional engine, safety, tech, reliability and a winner all the way around!
I'm in the process of buying one since my 08 Highlander went out on me. Was looking at nothing but RAV4's, but came across this little wonder and pulled the trigger. Fingers crossed all goes well and I'm driving it in a few days!
Boxster 981 is the most perfect sports car you can buy under 50K USD, you can’t name one car that comes close. Great video!
Thanks!
@@Papa_POV the production quality of your videos are insane when are more coming?
Much appreciated! Each video takes about a week to produce (writing, filming, editing) which I can only spare time for during long holidays (e.g. summer holiday, Chinese New Year, etc.), so you can expect more to come within those periods.
@@Papa_POV ok that’s fire it’s worth waiting for these bro🔥
I'm impressed with this review. Not just the car but the filming, the music used, and the amount of information given. It's the first video I've seen from this channel and safe to say you've earned a sub
Thanks a lot!
Omg. Dream car.
17:58 is this really how it sounds stock from outside? if so thats fucking cool
I have a 2000 GS, when I get in any year of GS, I just feel at home. Great car the GS, too bad more people didn't recognize how good it was.
great video intro and montage , keep it up
Thanks!
Its really ugly with round headlight
My god the way the way you’re steering. It’s a mess. You don’t understand the basic ideas about driving a Porsche Boxster. Suspension is stiff? You ain’t seen nothing yet in Sport Plus mode. The noise? You’re driving a SPORTSCAR! Any knowledge about apexes or clipping points? I don’t think so. Bad review!
Similar to Skoda Yeti
You are EASILY my new favorite car reviewer! I genuinely had chills throughout from the combination of driving noise, music, and INCREDIBLE commentary. This video is AMAZING!!
You’re too kind! Thanks a lot :)
The music ruins this video. I don't want to hear music competing w/the 981. Also there is no such thing as a 982 Porsche Boxster. The 718 Boxster is what Porsche replaced the 981 Boxster with.
718 is just a NAME for the 982 generation of cars! and the music was incredible!
