I wish there were more of these standstill videos. It's amazing to see and hear the drumline up close, but also hear the rest of the corps. Also awesome that they're in uniform, and these victory performances at the end of the night are always filled with so much emotion.

The Cavaliers drumlines of 1992, 2000, and 2002 are the best I've ever heard. You can't get anymore clean, visually stunning, unique, and entertaining.

Remember this show well. Still one of the best lines BD has had and the tenors were killer! Love the way the tenors sound as well. Everything was just tuned perfect. Great snare sound as well.

This line wins the award for most aggressive cavaliers line for sure.

The mic placement for DCI recording was so cringe and amateur during many years, specially ‘94,’95,’99. They have two nights every year before finals to check the sound and some genius decided that this was the best capture. Way to ruin every percussion section recording. Sad and cringe af.

The center snare for the Madison Scouts….Pat F. won 1st place for DCI solo ensemble in 2001….I had the honor to watch him perform…

...I had the VHS/PBS finals tapes and we watched them non-stop any chance we got in the band room, (2000-2003)...we loved this Cavalier line so much, and even went to innovative percussion sticks for winter line the following year! Everyone wanted to be in corps back then...drumline, pit, brass, color guard....I look back and smile because I had a small part in inspiring the underclassmen to Corps, that had never heard of DCI
