what to you study chris? also let me know how did you cook for the dinner? :)
Im studying for my MBA! And for dinner, usually very simple stuff like what I showed in the video: chicken, rice, vegetables etc. my small kitchen limits me a lot haha
your channel just came up from my feed. you seems charming person. good luck with your study. and show me more NYC too. :) @@cjy165
mah dude got a fancy accent and shit
Try to make it to Lucali in Brooklyn if you want the best nyc pizza.
Will do thanks!
Hey, this video randomly came up in my feed but as an American who went to college/uni in NYC and has now lived here for 10 years… I definitely recommend Trader Joe’s for most grocery shopping. There are plenty of overpriced grocery options in the city (I too live near an overpriced Whole Foods) but there are a few budget-friendly staples with Trader Joe’s being one. Additionally, their frozen foods and seasonal items can be pretty good at times as well. If the store is relatively convenient to get to from where you live it will be your go-to. I love Wegmans (as there is one in Princeton, NJ where I grew up) but there are only a couple in NYC currently and they get fairly busy… but they do have a larger selection of items/ingredients than places like Trader Joe’s which are typically smaller. PS: I can understand you just fine.. I agree with another comment that it’s likely that people aren’t expecting the accept when you speak to them so they probably ask if you can repeat yourself because they thought you said something else initially or were maybe speaking another language -which is common in NYC. A few of my friends have married Brits and even when I know their accents, if we’re out at a noisy bar or something I sometimes mishear them.. and them me. Don’t take it personally and nobody should be bothered by it, you’ll just have to get used to speaking a little slower and/or repeating yourself.
Thanks for the recommendations, definitely want to try a Wegmans I've walked past a few times Regarding the accent that makes sense, slowly getting used to it! Thanks for watching!
I will tell you why New Yorkers don’t understand your accent. I am from New York but raised mostly in England. New Yorkers have an accent as well but they cut their words short. When you speak you speak proper English. Plus English people speak faster than New Yorkers so if you slow it down for them they will understand you better.
Yeah I've learnt to slow down and it does help, thanks for watching!
I'm American and I can understand you fine, but I think sometimes in public if people aren't expecting an accent we can think we must be mishearing you and so ask again. For example, you pronounce "tuna" with a very strong "ch" sound at the beginning. I could see myself thinking that you were asking about some fish that started with a "c" that I wasn't aware of.
Very interesting, will keep this in mind, thanks for watching!
@@cjy165 try not to take it personally, the same thing happens to me every time I visit the UK (especially for words like "water" or "salad")
I have no problem with understanding your accent at all. I don't think you have a difficult accent, it's just the terms you use are different from American English. Just like Americans don't use cheers as British ppl do
Very true, I am picking up the local terms slowly - subway, lineup etc. haha
Nice dude❤
Thanks!
I was the best in my English class I really thought I crushed it (I'm french) once in new York I wanted help to go to Webster hall so I asked stranger wow all of my hopes and dreams disappeared 😅
Haha I can relate! Thanks for watching!
My favourite example of Americans not understanding my accent…try getting them to understand what an otter is!
Food in US is very expensive…suggest you increase your vegetable intake😀😀😀
Good advice! At least I can be healthy and save money at the same time, thanks for watching!
especially in NYC 😅 You can find great produce, any ingredient you could imagine, and the finest specialty items from just about anywhere in the world… but you will pay for them!
Totally unrelated but you're handsome! Enjoy NYC! ☺️😊
Thankyou! Hope you enjoyed the video!
As a native New Yorker I hope you have a great rest of your time here!
Thanks Jasmine!
Nice to see you back on UA-cam Chris! Excited for the NYC vlogs going forwards. Wanted to ask who you used to get your haircut with in London? Whoever cuts your hair does a good job :)
Thanks Simon! Unfortunately the hairdresser I was seeing left that salon a while ago

I'm watching this in Nov of 2022... I can honestly say this is the look that's happening currently in the US... Maybe mainly in California...🤔 who knows... but I'm watching this to learn for my 16 yr old son who wants his hair to currently look like this.. smh his hair falls straight down & has no volume. So thank U for posting this video!! I believe I have volume mousse to help the hair before hair drying then putting some pomade
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
YOU ARE GAY
I feel my hair definitely doesn't have enough volume for this
god you're gorgeous

HOW DO YALL HAVE THOSE MOTHERFUCKIN LONG HAIRS
Most barbers in the west have no idea how to cut asian guys hair lol. Its difficult to find a good barber
Not if it's in San Francisco... or majority of California 😏
So true. I’m always struggling in Europe, and never satisfied with how they cut my hair. I wish there were Asian barber salons.
Had anyone noticed that the background music is Airplane pt 2 by BTS
Can u bun your hair though?
What kind of haircut is this?
You remind me of my uncle
what kind of haircut is this?
and hairstyle. hehehe
what is his haircut?
i cut my hair short.. and since i don’t have a trimmer i look like a oompa loompa... more like mushroom, but that’s alright... 😳
Son? Nah jk but mate this made me want to get this easy hair cut thank you!!!! 😎😎 subbed.
you lowkey look like hanbin from ikon
This has been the most helpful hair tutorial I have been looking for a middle . You included measurements of your hair (which was very appreciated) and tips to keep it styled.
What are his measurements?
I was wondering why the back ground sounded like airplane pt 2 and i keep listening it was XD
