Oops, I did it AGAIN - Custom Tiered Shelf Build
Rebuilding an old design with black walnut and some refined details! I'm no content creator but I do enjoy sharing the creative process. Mind you this is a first so I learned the hard way, my machinery vibrates the wood floors across the shop. Hope you can handle it!

Oh Baby baby - Vintage Antique Ice Box Restoration
Переглядів 8 тис.4 роки тому
Enjoy my newest restoration project as I take an old rough looking Ice Box, from the early 1900's, and bring it back to life! Follow me @artisanomaly for more content and projects! Special thanks to my old man for providing space to work while away from the city and to the clients who asked I be a part of this restoration. Thank you! Without you I couldn't keep this passion alive.
What color stain did you use?
I have an old ice box as well but I don’t like the orange/ golden color. Can I lighten the wood or will it still turn orange?
How do I get in touch with you?
After you scraped off all the paint and sanded it down what did you put on it? And how did you clean the mega hinges?
What did you use to remove paint of metal? I have a very modern looking ice box I would like to refresh. Also did you save the racks. BTW. Love it.
Gel paint thinner is what I used. I think there's a liquid version? Which would probably better for getting in all the cracks. I definitely kept the racks, just some cleaning solution and some scrubbing and I was happy with the results. Good Luck!
