Absolutely a gem, thankyou for uploading. Brilliant to see Martin Atkins drumming in the era, plus his style is very distinctive. He was prolific in this period with Ministry, Pigface and Murder inc. He must like that top, he wore one in Ministry clips. Check out the clip “Breathe” by Ministry. Fantastic drummer, but as a Gatherer, Big Paul owns the drummer stool. Wow never seen Raven with that much hair. Had to double check it was him.. This album turned the ship around for me. The previous two albums were dross and they went downhill after the brilliant Night time. When this came out, the energy was back. Understandable now, as Jaz explained they were in legal battles with EG, as EG ripped them off as well as other label mates such as King Crimson and Roxy music. After this period Killing Joke reclaimed their massive ENERGY. So good to see.

I thought Jaz had a home in Arizona, I believe. I recall an interview where he states Arizona is a beautiful place. Funny how things turn out.

excellent wardance rendition in this period. hard not to be absolutely PROUD of the joke..and who would have thought in 2019 they would be touring with original lineup? out of all of the internationally known bands from the uk, they are sadly the last of the great original music acts with global notoriety. banshees, cure, pistols/pil, fall, crass, there are many, but the JOKE still stands and original, as well as the adicts i believe. I am very proud of those 2 artists. they have both put their very souls into it, and it shows

Intravenous. Why would Martin Atkins do that to himself? I guess when you are trying to replace Big Paul you have to push yourself to the limit, and beyond. I saw them on the US leg of this tour, and they didn't play nearly as many of these Extremities selections. Though they did do Money is Not Our God twice as they shot the concert parts of the video.

this is the time line i should have seen them in, if i was paying attention. i absolutely love this period, particularly the b-sides "the artist" and "the fanatic." my love for their material leans towards the songs that they don't acknowledge live anymore, ala "suns." can we resurrect paul raven, please?

Saw them in 1981/1982 (Manchester) 1994 (Phoenix festival) and 2014 (Hebden Bridge). Always intense.

Damn, my band and I are dead broke. Now's a great time to tell the biggest market for music that I totally fucking hate them. I suspect that Jaz has some sort of delusions of grandeur or megalomania, he's not stupid but he has problems that he blames on everyone but himself. No Jaz, money is not our god but it sure as fk puts food on the table and a roof over our heads. What's the alternative? Trading chickens for your electric bill? And once your so-called "Eco-villages" works out all of their problems you'll have to realize at that point that you are a capitalist after all, you just really suck at it.

Apocalyptique, le KILLING JOKE de cette période intimidait vraiment. Coleman/Walker/Raven/Atkins/Bechdel… la grande époque.
