DIY 12V Air Compressor Modification | Remote Switch Install with schematic | 4WD
Переглядів 18 тис.3 роки тому
This is a cheap, easy and reliable way to modify your 12V air compressor to have a remote switch. Avoids any complex or more expensive circuitry. The compressor shown here is from Anaconda, but this is the same compressor as sold and re-branded by: - Ridge Ryder (Supercheap auto) - XTM (BCF) - Kings Thumper (4WD Supacentre) This mod is not permanent, so it can be easily removed if required. All...
HOW TO | Intake Manifold Clean | Complete DIY step-by-step removal | Pajero | 4M4

Complete DIY step by step instruction on how to remove the intake air manifold for cleaning from a Mitsubishi Pajero - diesel with a fuel injected 4M4 engine. This clean was done on a 2007 NS Pajero. Also applies to Mitsubishi Showgun with a 4M4 engine. See the common build up of carbon soot from exhaust gas recirculation with oil mist, causing a loss of engine power performance. Restore diesel...

Victory Chico's second win celebration Ballarat Race 9 - 01 June 2020
Good stuff, just got an NS Paj myself and I'm wondering what rear tray set up is? Looks tidy
Hey I have a question, I followed your tutorial of a second switch and it worked BUT, my compressor has the switch with two settings ( | ) The first setting turns off when it gets to 150psi, the ( || ) second is a continual flow where the machine overrides the pressure switch... So when I run the unit now from 2nd Switch, it gets to pressure then dumps the air back to around 100, then continues ... any ideas?
Hi, how did you tighten the lower shock nut while wheel on the ground, couldn't you simulate wheel on ground via jack point(like when changing wheel/same height/weight on ground!?).
I did mine at the front with spacers on top, 2inch lift achieved with no acute angles on CVs. On the rear i found the longer springs tend to pull the wheel forward so it's not sitting centre in the arch which irritated me, so old springs back, I loosened the complete rear subframe and spaced it, excellent outcome wheel in centre and normal wheel travel, CV angle normal, still good after 8 years. With Maxxis mud terrains and back A Line wheels it still look the part, had to change the tyres recently with the same. A lot of road noise, but which i like. 😂😂
Great video dude! And very helpful!! Your Lovels springs its the Heavy duty?
Thanks, will use your tutorial to fit my own Tough Dogs which are arriving. Ordering some pollytuff spring seats too. Thanks a bunch mate !
Видео класс 👍 Подскажи номера деталей ?
Great video mate 👍
Thank you so much! Perfect work!!!!! 👌🤗✌️
Good vid, just did my rears. Your tip about unbolt the lower bolt was a game changer. Guys that sold it said "just unbolt the shock, it will hang low.." 😂
Followed your guide today and it worked great, did it with my son who is a Toyota mechanic, he liked the ratchet strap hack! I'll be using your intake manifold guide soon - Cheers!
You made that look far too easy. I tried to do mine but failed miserably. I just couldn’t get the new rear springs in, no matter how far down I got the lower arm.
Just found this. Dammmm fine work and not one swear word. 👏🏻👏🏻
Excellent video. Covered everything needed for the project.
ThNks for that. I’ll have a crack at mine now 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Excellent video. So much so, I have made you a honorary Kiwi. Tell me, how many k's were on this and had the manifold been done before?
Followed your video and did my suspension upgrade today! Thank you so much!
Faut changer tes roue
Thats gonna be a comfy ride now.
Hello did you ever do the follow up cleaning video? Thanks
Top job mate appreciate you taking the time to post.
Looks great! Sits up high..
Wow! How long does all this take?
Nice one mate. I definitely recommend it having kids around while doing this. 😂😂😂
Great video, just noticed how low you have your awning mounted is it mounted just to the stock pajero roof rails or is it mounted to your basket
Doing both sides simultaneously front, then you don't need to disconnect the swaybar because the other side isn't keeping it higher up and is giving away on both sides ;) But yeah, your way is the correct way. Nice video.
Great job - Even better video!.... When can I bring my NX 2018 around??? ha,ha,ha
do you have to do a wheel alignment afterwards? do you know the bolt torque specs on the suspension or do you only need to crank it down?
Can someone help me please, I took my 2004 NP Pajero to the mechanic for a few things, it was previously running fine, they convinced me to have a manifold clean, my car is now running rough, occasional surge the engine light and ABS light go on and off, I feel like my car is suffocating ?? I told the dealership to check code it was a 41 the dealership tell me it's nothing they did!! they do not touch the throttle valve sensor when cleaning the manifold, that I need to pay to get it fixed, after watching this video it seems they would need to remove it. Do you agree that the dealership must of done something wrong.
Awsome tutorial will be giving it a go tomorrow
Bought the same set from them, wouldn't buy off them again
Great job showing all the stuff! Esp trying to film by yourself! If I could recommend 1 thing before starting.. it would be to spray down (cooled engine) with degreaser and pressure wash off any grease and grime, dirt etc than blow off any water with compressor or let dry well before starting job. Other than that, great video! Thx for all the effort!
Great Video, Looks to purchase a similar kit. How would you rate the Durashock shock absorbers?
Did u end up putting bigger tyres on
Until remove upper manifold, yes i can do it but lower, i dont trust myself
but do you repleace the inlet mainfold gasket only? not others?!?! thank you
Hey mate, looking at doing something similar. Few questions? 1) Why does your Anderson not have both pos and negative connections and 2) how have you wired the piggy backed switch? I think someone else was chasing that too! Epic idea though, keen to here back. Cheers
Yeah he does have + and - Anderson plug, + is marked with Red tape, it’s a great idea.
Mate you should be wearing a cape! People like you are the reason we don't get ripped at dodgy mechanics 😅
Cheers for the video mate just did mine and this was super helpful
hi thanks for good video, I have done manifold clean following your steps, but my pajero cranks but not starting. what would be the problems?
Which Lovells springs part number did you use??
Great work the ripped shirt arm reminded me of the hulk. Excellent video with clear instructions. Thanks for putting in the effort to make such a detailed video showing how it can be done at home.
Great job mate. Nice practical video with all the bits we need and no fluffing about:)
Great Vid. Easy to understand, heaps of watch out for this hints and the editing to speedup some of the simple work was spot on. Thanks
Hi mate why does battery and the air box have to be removed and how long did you take to complete ? Thanks a lot
Nice! any recommendations for a 96' Montero? lift wise
You did a amazing job explaining everything you did. Thank you very much.
Classic⭐️🌹
Not really sure why the rear LCA wasn't going up? Maybe because there's a spring rated for thousands of pounds pressing it down? Haha
Really thorough video mate 👍
