Junk the 6 post clutch pick up 9 post clutch try 52 gram weights and yellow/white or yellow/green stripe spring and stock roller clutch would help a T cat or ZRT or ZR clutch will fit from 97 to 02 and just move the spring in the secondary middle maybe PS 1974 to 2002 recoils fit any suzuki motor twins and triples just grab the basket some are deep some are shallow

I have to come up with a similar solution for my 95 Puma with a rotted out muffler can! All the exhaust goes under the hood!

I just got my old mans 96 Thundercat 1107 triple running again after 15 years of sitting. Its so heavy, old steel chassis. I've dreamt of what I could put the engine in to make it a super mod, or what I could do to make it more ridable. She's a killer in a strait line but ya better not get her stuck!

How did you wire that light bar to the stator

What caused you to rebuild the bottom end too? I have 440 that's head gaskets are bad. Oil is mixing the coolant and one cylinder is scuffed. I only planned on rebuilding the top. Should i do the bottom too? Could it possibly be a water pump seal? I'm new to these

dude i used to be you stop waisting your money on cat piss junk instead invest your money into used but newer sled im sorry for sounding so ruff but i had a 93 ext 580 and it was gas drinking piston port junk sled trust me The poo or doo 600 are cheaper and last longer then the 8s

I know how you feel my guy i rebuilt from the ground up a m6 this summer picked it up for 1000 bucks it only had 2500 miles on it so that there should say how ABSOULUTLY DESTROYED it was took me about all spring summer and fall with work i was just riding in the backcountry of the U P these past few days and the clutching still is not right pull cord handle came undone recoil stopped working then the pull cord broke off and then it just died but i still had lots of fun though Lol best off wishes to you

I loved the XLT. They ripped. Out here in the west, if you tuned the clutches up to 9900 rpm, the climbed anything. They were light and good-looking

How did you determine your exhaust is "plugged "

Your primary spring is sacked out

Should have put the cat motor in the doo. Especially since it has reverse and its a way newer chassis

You shouldn't have turned it over with that Mouse Nest it could have sucked it into the engine. Also don't rev the motor with no belt on that's really bad for the clutch. You need a rear idler then you need to set the track alignment. If you run it without that idler it's going to tear your track up in no time. Also I suggest in the future that you actually show you doing some of the work otherwise this video was pretty much a before and after which doesn't make it exciting. I do love a revival video, especially rough sled ones like this

that definitely didn’t run last year lol but looks sweet!! could maybe use a carb clean or rebuild. they are pretty spicy units when you set them up
