Hey everyone... this comment section seems to be full of people with BPD so i just thought I'd ask- any advice for someone who's in a romantic relationship with someone who has BPD? I just want to be more helpful for my partner, help them feel more comfortable, but I'm not sure where to start.

This happened the other day… I thought my partner was starting to not like me and thought he was just annoyed with me so I thought he was going to leave so I sh’d for the first time in like 3 months and then almost committed.. Seems to me the first step in curing yourself of BPD is to realize that bad things can always happen. Disaster, loss, and disappointment are all potentially just a breath away. But abusing your S.O. isn't going to somehow prevent that. You have to become comfortable through acceptance of the inherent insecurity of existence, by bolstering your sense of security through things you can control. Other people NOT being one of those things.

My Mom must be a borderline person. She denying what I have just said and behaving like a oblivious ignorant sometimes. I didn't know what's wrong with Her. It must be some explanation for such behavior, for denying facts. Such people behave like they are crazy and you can't understand them, you think they want to manipulate you, convince you for something false but they really have some mental issues, illness. Such people think they can make a crazy person from you telling you things out of this world, completely opposite to things that just happened.
