Danke Andreas, da hast Du natürlich Recht. Typischer Flüchtigkeitsfehler, wenn es mal schnell gehen soll. ;) Nachher mal die Tonwerte etwas korrigieren - die Kompression hat einiges an Farbe und Details kaputt gemacht.

Wir waren an dem Tag extra um 2 Uhr früh auf einen Berg gefahren, und ich nehme somit an das absolute Hoch habt ihr wahrscheinlich verpasst. Wir haben im schnitt jede 10-15 Sekunden welche gesehen, für 2 Stunden durchgehend. Zum Teil derart grosse, das man sogar die Rauchschwaden deutlich gesehen hat.

Maybe 7950 is not recommended to play GTA IV, mine i cant change the resolution it always says false warning, i got 3gb gfx memory but only allows me 1gb and 1080x768 resolution, i tried -norestriction in GTA IV and works well runs 60+ fps avg but its kinda buggy the video wooble when i pres W,A,S,D. so i uninstalled it :)

Hey Johannes, of course, the hype is not as great as shortly after the release. I can speak only for the PC version, and i find only a few servers of TeamMafiyaWorks, Cops'n'Crooks... Usually there is only one server of them, and this are the modes who made the most fun for me. Most players prefer TeamDeathmatch or Freemode and use cheats there. Most of the old GTA IV players are waiting for GTA V now. And most of the players know each other and they are playing together since release.

Ja danke man, für den Post. Das hätte auch nix genutzt. Weiter unten habe ich geschrieben daß die Karte bereits ausgetauscht wurde - da Lüftersteuerung defekt. :D Kein Plan wie das gehen kann daß ein Lüfter dauernd rennt aber nun ja. Neue Karte flüster leise und rennt gut. Trotzdem danke für den Tipp, der vielleicht bei ner 3 Jahre alten Karte interessant sein dürfte.

Yes, but its possible its not a stupid lag but a glitch wenn the boss was hit by helicopter. I see that strange things often when someone begins to climb over fence or wall but abort it. You will see him climbing but oh his screen he is running away - sometimes he will shot you from behind then. :(

So i wondered the same... Just test something: Open the case place a ventilator heading to the graphicscard and play. :) Clean the cooler of the Graphiccard. Do the VRAM has own cooler? Use GPU-Z to log the temperatures of your graphiccard. Reduce the Vram clock to test that texture loss happend again. I am sure its always a temperature Problem of Graphiccard. My GIGABYTE HD 7950 3GB Windforce 3 is sold as silent card. It has big cooler with 3 fans but run to slow to make it silence. :(

Strange as it is anyway, because VRAM is only a few degrees warmer than the GPU. When you play with vsync off, the RAM seems to run more hot, but only about 55°C in same time the GPU reach about 50°C. And just now i found a topic about an issue of HD7950 with throtteling at lower temps. So yesterday i modified the Fan-controlling via MSI Afterburner. Faster Fan Speed at lower Temps and in the 6 hours of non stop GTA no problems left. :) But why the f*** the 7950 throttles at 47°C VRAM? .

Yey, i made clean install of windows 7 and tested different versions of GPU driver. With clean deinstallation... Problem was the same. and the above settings do not help. But i think i figured out now! I made some tests with GTA IV in windowed mode and had my eyes on some tools showing me sensordata of PC. Seems that in some cases the graphics memory is getting to warm. MSI Afterburner unfortunately shows only the GPU temperature!

Yey, problem wasnt that i didnt killed you, but the crazy flying traffic around you. That happens very often and i did see our cars moving strange when we drive together in one car. O.o Thats all. :) Rest was okay.

Well I watched it Timmy. As anybody can see I am the boss at 3:01 (notice the shotgun :D) and I took about 3 or 4 bullets in the chest. Easy to survive with body armor and then you hit me with a car and I shoot a missle in mid air (I actually can remember this situation) Nothing special if you ask me. If you get hit and hold the left mouse button you'll shot with your equipped weapon in random directions. But you are right there was some delay before the missle appeard. :)
