I don't think he's sad because of Taylor completely. I think it may be part of it. People complain when she's there (could be teammates too) and then they say she should be there. That has be hard to know that people feel that way. Maybe she feels like she's hurting him and stayed back for this game. I think he also maybe sad a little because the realization of his time drawing near. He's getting these younger guys ready and it's emotional for someone whose had a long career.
