This is already complicated to understand. Can you please lower music volume or remove it so we can hear clearly. Thanks
Thanks for watching your video. I have a table tennis channel. 🏓 Thanks
Wtf, where did the table tennis go? 😂
thanks for the video. just curious....isnt this what traditional folks call BH dominant grip? because it works really well for backhand but makes the paddle angle way too open and ackward for FH. u can force yourself to spin the ball with this BH grip on the FH but its a forced rotation of forearm/wrist. this grip u mentioned also makes hooking inward shots easy on FH but its harder to do inside out. I find that most pros do twist the paddle inward for FH (creating a little bit of a gap in the middle of the index finger) and switch to your grip mentioned here for Bh. thoughts? curious too cause i hate having to switch grips but my coach is suggesting i do for better and more natural FH.
Exactly what I wanted. None of the other tutorials explain the basics of how spin even works. They all start with "GUYS THIS IS HOW TO GET THE BEST SPIN ON YOUR BALL!!!111!!"
Great animation!
It's exactly what I was looking for. Thanks
Kdy bude dalsi dil?
Uz s nama vy*ebal s autem :D Proc to neudelat znova, kdyz se nechame :D Jsem zvedava na making of OMS The Movie, ptz me vazne zajima, jak z toho ty cisla vycuca :D
@@xxGumidekxx rekl to u trezoru tesne pred odhalenim kodu, nebo na zacatku hry? on na konci prece daval napovedy s casy, a nakonec se vsechny casy ukazaly. I concur that the perpendicular force of the partial impulse force of the inertial rotation is effective in imparting the motor functional force of the generated acceleration path, but on the point of parallel amplitude tangential velocity of linear movement, I must say that it is the curvilinear orthogonal characteristics of rotational movement of the axis of rotation of accumulated mass of the rotation of the bio-mechanical closed kinetic movement.
do a video on "Tischtennisball mit unregelmäßiger Rotation", "Tischtennisball toppling", "Tischtennisball mit wobbling rotation" oder ähnlichen suchen. Du könntest auch spezifische Begriffe wie "unstable spin" oder "unsteady rotation"

Can you explain me simple pls?
thank you !!!!
Pohyb po šachovnici má být pohyb po MONUMENTU. V prezentaci jsem se upsal :( Ale asi to je jasné i tak.
Thank you so much for this content. This is GOLD. At first I found it very hard to understand but watching it many times helped and following the transcript made it clear for me. Over the years I have developed many "bad" habits in my game. mainly rushing and reacting to play the ball which was obviously counterproductive. For Shadow practice I use a metronome at 72 B.P.M. to simulate the bounce. [special thanks to Ben Larcombe's article on Rhythm and Timing - Underrated Table Tennis Skills]
You are welcome, my friend. Keep getting better. ;)
oh no..lefty views are not user friendly IMHO...quite a confusing video. More clarity with better close up angles of the bat grip may help...I don't know. But I like the intent here. Fix the basics first. How? Still not clear
Does this mean that I should not change my grip?
When is your next video coming?
This is over-complicated TT not new-level TT 😂
Says who?
Genious. Thank you so much.
What is IR Line please?
Hi @NLTT could you confirm the below is right for the Rallying Cycle? Beat 0 (Visual) - End of opponents back swing. Physical Action: Start your ‘split step’ - small jump backwards. Beat 1 (Audio 1) - Opponent hits the ball. You are still in the air, push feet down to land. Note: You can decide on position of legs before landing. Beat 2 (Visual) - Ball is just leaving the opponents paddle (20-30cm). Physical Action: Lower your head and try to see the ball it this point. Here you have time to make adjustments to be in the best position for your shot. Mental Action: Reading the trajectory & spin. Beat 3 (Visual) - Ball is at the top of its peak as its coming over the net. Physical Action: Start your backswing and load you right leg as your anchor for both forehand and backhand - Bounce Down with the ball (lowering your head already achieves this). Sync your backswing to the falling ball. Beat 4 (Audio 2) - Ball hits your side of the table. Physical Action: Start your forward swing - Bounce Up with the ball to meet it. Mental Action: Decide on your shot trajectory/placement. Beat 5 (Visual) - Ball reaches its peak of the bounce (optimal). Physical Action: Hit the ball. Mental Action: Focus on the contact point on the ball you want to hit and know your trajectory/placement. Beat ?? (Audio 3) - Just after the ball leaves your bat. Physical Action (Advanced): Recovery Jump in the direction you have hit the ball, lining up with your non-playing arms side of the body (stroke span centre at heel of right foot). Always prepare to play backhand and switch as needed. Still time to make adjustments. Beat 6 (Audio 4) - Ball hits the opponents side of the table. Mental Action: Prepare for Beat 0, next split step.
whatever works for you. Remember those are mental shortcuts for unified training and troubleshooting. After some time you will simplify it once you find right feeling for the rhythm. Even some actions will merge together. Wish you the best 🙂
@@DESANGGG Ok thank you for the response.
This grip work perfectly once you apply the stroke descriptions also on this channel. The angle of the bat even changes itself on the backhand and forehand with hardly any need for adjustment as long as you have in mind to play backhand first. ❤ Thank you so much…
Thank you so fukcing much different grips for bh and fh was making my cosch so irritated now ill try to make both same please do reply if you know drills for the aame
When is 6-10 coming out? Do you have a book at all?
Hi Mark, videos are created in my free time. I also have a lot of coaching duties. Moreover we did not reach 1000 subs in a year. That is not good motivation for sharing years of knowledge. New videos will be added later than planned. Be patient. 😉
@@DESANGGG You now have more than 1k subs 😄 Your content are hidden gems. Hopefully you will add more video.
It does work for the backhand and gives you a much bigger reach to the left to cover more of the table 🎉
can you analyze xx technique
It would be better to specify what in the picture is the forearm, what is the shoulder, what is the playing side of the racket, in which direction the movement goes, what is what in the picture.....?
does the ball goes in general the parabolic curve , or is it some other kind of curve? if we assume nothing but gravity , its parabolic. but what if we consider additionally the spin -> the magnus effect comes in. is it still parabolic ?
This question is now explained in study video. Effect of spin on ball trajectory. Look it up at out channel.
@@DESANGGG havent found that. im asking about deep math: is the trajectory proportional to the second power of horizontal position of the ball or is it not.
The trajectory will not be parabolic fully because of the rotation of the ball. Imagine a parabola with point A being on the left at the end of the table and Point B being on the right at the other end of the table. The more top spin that is added (when hitting from side A to B) will pull point B closer to A, meaning the arc on your side of the table will be longer than the other side, as spin pulls the ball down
Many thanks. As a TT lover who uses his body badly, I have long needed people knowledgeable about biomechanics to try to explain how to improve any part of it. Like the guy with the Master’s degree, I only got part of it (the commentary was far too fast to absorb easily). But I am grateful that you try to share this knowledge.
I don't blv I only found this channel now, I'm a scientist and I'm trying the brain way with some (but not enough) success
This channel is very young. It is new way of thinking about the game. I have not enough support to create videos on regular basis. I hope you like it. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. If you are scientist there is something you will love. All those heureka moments, that are like - No, way it was so evident, but I was blind to it all the time :D have a great day.

Hello friends. This video is serving also a test for new more human voice for the future videos. How do you like it? let us know. THANK YOU.
I don't like the Ai voice, it makes it look like bait or fake. Which is too bad because this video is actually useful
One point, I notice that the narrator talks about the 'catapult effect'. Is that not a misnomer? I cant think 🤔 of any time there is a catapult effect to consider. Trampoline effect, yes. 🤔 Maybe if someone serves straight off the hand? But that never happens these days, does it.
Yes, the term is used to describe it. For lack of words narration maybe little off. Thank you for pointing out.
There is no really suitable word for either no-spin ball normal to the surface or 1:23 spin-ball tangential to the surface . For the former, "spring" effect comes closest. For the latter "catapult" or "slingshot-with-one-rubber-band" is best, but that's a mouthful. I'd just call it slingshot-effect and let the animation do the explaining. "A picture is worth a thousand words", said a wise man. And an animation is worth a thousand pictures.
My coach told me you don't have your thumb touch the rubber in forehand strokes. What is your response to this? He played provincial level in China.
It depepnds what your objective is. If you want to improve your feeling and fix your grip form, then we consider it is better to develop it with the tip we presented. Moreover, it is directly leading to easier energy focusing later. If your aim is to add power to only FH stroke then you can make your thumb pushing hard on the top cut part of the handle. At that point you will not be touching rubber. This is probably what your coach ment. The point is that is much easier to grip paddle properly once you know our approach then to switch other way around.
Man he disrespecting fan like that lol
That is his nickname :) no disrespect. Fan is brilliant study material.
Chinese translation of FZD’s nickname is literally “little fatty”
Hi New Level TT, In the Aiming substitution Model, Kindly let me know if I got this correct. Black Line (Dashed) - stroke span Baseline Red line - Paddles Red dotted lines - paddles or playing Arm at the end of back swing Yellow line (2 solid line) - 1. NPH at Backhand and 2. NPH at Forehand backswing Yellow dotted line crossing stroke span baseline - Initial position of NPL before Forehand (also after hitting Forehand) Black line (dashed and dotted) - Imaginary line that created by NPH in tracking or aiming Thanks in Advance
Exactly. There is also the orange color for VE text and dashed line. Unfortunately it is not good contrast in the presentation. The concept basically means, that you imagine optimal crosing point with your NPH (or its extension). IMPORTANT - mentally aligning/facing opponent/ball with NP side of your body!!! (always expect BH first - ep.03 Stroke span). Notice, that yellow dotted line is still facing ball just after the slight change of position (to account for covering wider FH side). In that case red lines are not present/drawn, but you can imagine them same way as at the BH side. Hitting is then naturally performed by hand substitution at mentioned crossing/aiming point, with simultaneous transition to balanced stance (this means weight transfer and connecting both hands to the triangle during followthrough). Need to be frequenty trained by shadow practicing and imagination of the proper rhythm (ep. 02 - Two key actions). For the shots to be comfortable from both sides look at hand/bat positions in the concept HPL and demonstration of FH and BH strokes.
@@DESANGGG Thank you. Can you please explain the Position adjustment model as well? The black dotted line that is perpendicular to Left foot and forehand playing point is NOT stroke span right? Here blue line represents stroke span, Correct? what is the Red line represents? yellow curves are NPH or PH?
@@Atrixmv Sure, blue bold line is SS baseline. Red line marks center of stroke span and is aligned with the heel of anchor foot. Because your SS can be approximately divided at your anchor. FH has little bigger reach. yellow arcs show length and shape of each stroke. blue arrows are for reminder of triangle and ending positions of the strokes.
@@DESANGGG thank you. I tried to answer Diamond Pattern Quiz. Please let me know if the thoughts are in right direction.🙂
@@Atrixmv where did you put your answer? I cant see it.
Thanks for the Videos. It really helping for our TT Practice. 'Cone on the rod' approach is helping in looping against backspin. I have a question, Can we use the cone on the rod technique for Forehand topspin against block? when I tried most of the ball is going out of the table. Thanks in advance.
Hi Atrix, note that this concept is used for proper timimng and synchronization of multiple movements of body parts. For the question you asked, please look more at the concept of EVIL TWIN. During every shot, you need to be aware of the part of the ball you are contacting, given the rotation of the ball. Easy aid is (top rotation - upper half of the ball, downspin - lower half of the ball). now, during hitting the are 3 key factors involved. 1) direction of the energy your hand/body is producing. 2) direction of the ball redirected by angle of your racket. 3) direction of the spinny ball after collision with your bat rubber. Idea to get safe shot on the table is to add those three directions mentally, so that resultant direction is going through the net. then you calibrate those angles and add your own spin (brushing) to get the ball over the net. It is easier/safer to get ball over the net, than to force the ball down by rotation once you shoot it up. I hope it makes sense.
@@DESANGGG Thank you New Level TT. This helps a lot. 🙂
This video was difficult to watch. Difficult to comprehend with all the lines. Would be more helpful to show a key or a legend to mark what all these lines mean. Or better yet, have clearer illustrations or examples. I have no idea what the diamond pattern is even trying to illustrate-L R L R 1 2 1 2 L R floating in space above a box representing the table
M N, You are right. It is probably difficult to get all info just from images. Please note that L R is often reffering to the Left and Right. for AS: In general, images are appearing according to timing of sentences. Lines are hands (forearm) positions in two situations (ball played on FH side or BH side) It is all drawn at the same time in one picture. Once the body is shown in the end of topis, then it should be more evident. Red line is a Paddle. Circles Green and Blue are elbows of NPH (non-playing hand) and playing hand. Dotted line represents imaginary extension or hands/paddle at the backswing phase. Follow color matching. Now, you need to study the pictures. not just look at it. Try to imagine the situations and motions. for DIAMOND: Diamond pattern is the QUIZ, so the rest is up to. Try you to solve it :) Key point of the video is mentioned right in the beginning. Images are just graphical reasoning of the statements.
Yes, difficult to watch, at least partly because the deep technical analysis is (as noted in previous segments) non-trivial. Hopefully viewers/commenters have carefully studied the presentations, replaying multiple times seemed to help for me. Thanks New Level TT for the thoughtful reply and for the considerable effort undertaken here. Please keep it up.
@@DESANGGG black R and L all the way on the right represent starting foot position when serving. White R and L represent feet ready position after serving. The numbers and lines- no idea
How does anyone understand this? I just finished my master's degree in Computer Science, but this explanation is way too technical without visual/practical examples. I suggest you add more concrete examples instead of angular drawings. I really liked some of your other videos that are easier to follow, keep up the good work. It is appreciated!
