@@rubensan40 I modified the oem trigger wheels. Make 12+1 pattern to 12-1 by cutting the teeths off from crank trigger wheel and take 3 teeths off from cam trigger wheel to make it single teeth.

@@engineeringapplied-e80 I have been looking at the speeduino board pinout and am I little confused where do you pin in for the vtc at all I've seen is vvt so I'm not sure how I would control that

@@charlestorruella8591 Speeduino provide ground to VVT. Then turn it on in map. Donot mess with it if your not sure. You will blow up a mosfet.

Thanks. You just need an arduino (any), a N channel mosfet like IRF540 etc, bread board and some jumper wires. I have mention the pinouts of iacv in the video. Do you have a base map for the k series....did you have to modify your trigger wheel and what do you think about piggy backing on top of a stock ecu

Yes it's been modified in both cars. Vtc works but i still need to work on PID to put it in close loop. Which pcb you got? and You are from?

We have a base map and can make one according to the setup. Also remote tune your car as well. Along with the wiring guide.

@@charlestorruella8591 I also have 0.4.3c. But i also added another pcb to increase input/outputs. But 0.4.3c can work fine. You might like to check the runs of that civic, last video we shared. Car is not dyno tune yet!. Have a stock 4.3 final drive transmission and still got some good hp left to pull out.

​@@engineeringapplied-e80my idea is to put together a frankenk with a2 cams on a3 head VTech locked and a2 pistons which are higher compression and a prb intake all stock parts from junkyard right now it's am auto so I want to run it piggyback once I get it tuned I'm going to manual swap it but can't unless I get a manual ecu which is why I want to use speeduino this way so I don't need 1200 bucks for kpro they say it's 795 but that's with out installation on your ecu I've been thinking of this for a year and ready to do something

Please also look the other videos on the channel, We used 0.4.3c pcb. Made brand new custom wiring harness. Everything works like oem. Vtc is disabled right new although It works as well.

The speeduino manual and forums don’t have much information for k24a2. Where did you get the wiring information?- to know which wires from the engine harness to connect to which speeduino terminals?

Wailaikum Assalam Highly depends upon the driving style and tune. But stays between 11-13 km/l and goes 4-5 if you start doing pulls. On long it provided 16 (without ac). Also ac will not effect much due to the displacement of engine. No 15 is the max you can go anything more will damage your engine, also engine doesn't run on 17 afrs. Yes. This car already got 2 fuel maps.

@@Jakkk which car we are talking about? Iacv is just a valve that allows to pass. More air means more rpm.

@@engineeringapplied-e80 k20a2 i was idling at 200rpm so i replaced the iacv, the issue was fixed for about 2 hours, my car idles at 2300-3000rpm now, is there any way i can adjust the iacv or anything for a lower idle?

@@Jakkk be sure about wiring. You can advance or retard the iacv. That will change the idling speed.

@@engineeringapplied-e80 I'm working on a k24a4 swap for a 68 VW beetle and I want to use a speeduino as a standalone ecu but I'm not sure how to get vtc working with speeduino. From what I understand, the K24a4 has vtc only on the intake cam, how exactly did you get the vtc working? I am new to this sort of stuff so I'm learning as I go along. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

@@natedog93612 Yes K24 has vtc only on Intake cam. You can use vtc inclose loop in minus trigger pattern.

Wailaikum Assalam, Except speedometer. I installed a custom conveter to make stock civic speedometer work on K series CSS. Other then that everythings work like oem. You can see the Part 1 in which i talked about it.

I'm using minus trigger pattern in both cars with single tooth cam. I tested the vtc in close loop, it works. But i need to sort out the PID controller values. So disabled it for time being. I will make a separate video on it.

Your welcome. True, If you can get it, because they are not imported in Pakistan. Although You can always get it's intake cam imported and throw it in Jdm K24A.

First you need to get rid of engine crossmember, center the engine right to have equal axles. So you can use Ek civic kswap axles. Rest just take care of transmission and steering rack distance.
