Yummy. I enjoy Ramen soup. Sometimes I cook some bell pepper, onions, tomato, and the flavor packet from the Ramen in a skillet. Once veggies are tender, I add water and the noodles and keep cooking until noodles are done. Sometimes I brown a little ground beef when I'm cooking the veggies. United way call 211 to find other food banks or food Pantry's in your local area.

You always get pretty decent hauls at least most seems usable

I'm a new subscriber. Your channel came to me as one that was 'suggested'. I've been enjoying your videos, and going along on the drive to your local food bank, and the reviews that you give on the blessings you receive each time. I'm 64 now, and I remember as a little girl, my Mom and I going to the food bank during the times she was laid off from her work, which seemed as though it happened every year around the same time. She retired from the same company, after 28 years. They didn't call it a food bank then, it was simply referred to as receiving "State Commodities". Our church had a food closet, that we would receive items from, to supplement those received from the state. Items such as cheese, bacon, ground beef, milk and eggs. During times that weren't so lean, I recall proudly walking into the church with a modest size box of items that we donated to the same 'closet' that we received from. Helping other families was such a great feeling. Because of that experience, paying it forward is something that I have carried. Have a blessed weekend.

At least you did get some good items. When I saw the blueberries and the doughnuts I thought how good would that taste to warm the doughnut and eat with some blueberries😊 Do you get to go to the food bank every week? The ones I go to are once a month. But I am grateful for everything I'm blessed with and try to find ways to help stretch out my items. I check the schedules on Feed America website to see if there are any mobile food pantries in my area so you might look to see if there are more in your area. Everything is a great help. Good food and nice sweets. Hard to tie ends together these days. Food banks are struggling to meet the needs of so many.

Are there any other food banks near you that you can go to, to help supplement your food supply? In Indiana, you can go to several banks, not just 1.
