Hey y’all . 2008 has a recall on the Ingnition node. I had mine changed then the dealership told me it wasn’t communicating with the tpim. When u do use a dealer. Always tell them u have a mechanic elsewhere to have work done . Or they will hustle you for crap u don’t need . I will repost when it gets home today . Thanks Jesse

Thank you Jessy Built. I tried to figure all this on my own this morning. Thank God for a mechanic neighbour who helped me with a worn nut cap. I am forwarding this to my wife in case she gets stuck out far from help. Even if she does not do it all, she can help those who cannot find the gap for the spare tyre release. My 2010 Grand Caravan had similar symptoms and was towed to the dealer. They charged me $200 for reset the computer chips. No material fee was charged.

Hope you can answer. I seen this been posted long time ago. Mine wont even show the mileage. So would still be the problem? Or would it be the fuel pump relay?

Guys there is a recall on the same issue on 2014 in USA and KSA ( Saudia Arabia) Thank god i met a person whos work for mopar spare partas, he told there is a recall when i asked him about the win ( wireless injection node) I was about to spend 1000$ to fix it. Then i went to the dealer and fix it for free .

Same problem happened to me no light on dashboard only red dot on the left under the gas light nothing seems to be working on my 2008 3.5 L charger

I what you mean my uncles girl friend has a 2015 Honda Accord the battery died and the mechanics said it was the alternator we tried a new battery and it started and the car ran fine

How much did they charge you in total

If one fob works and not the other for starting would that still be the win?

so did the plug come off the WIN? what was the original issue? my dodge dont start, no dash light, exterior lights. remote start and remote unlock wont work. the red security light blinks all the time. im thinking security issue, possible WIN, which was just replace bout 6 months ago for a recall.

Isn't that part in recall?? I got a recall notice for it and called to have it fixed about a year ago... They got parts a couple months ago but never called to tell me, now my van is doing just as you described and I called dodge only to find out they have the part... So now I'm paying and waiting for a tow truck ( which they better reimburse me) so the win can be replaced.... If y'all paid to have the win replaced call about the recall and get your money back

I have an 09 Journey with the key fobs. I had my WIN and key fobs replaced, DIDNT start AGAIN when I got it home from dealer.

nice... I went to las vegas to.pick up my van from L.A. same problem... what is exactly I have to do... go to delaer..? or buy the new part WIN. .? and reprogram the key..? I'm happy to found t tour video, because mechanic told me same today, have to replace the computer... thanks Jessi

Good Job Jesse!! The WIN unit is now under recall for replacement of the entire unit! Still have to get the car towed to the dealer though. Great Job on the video - only wish I could heve seen how to remove all the panels. Thanks so much for posting!!

did the keys have to be reprogrammed?

my van needed to be towed, they wanted to replace the computer and I told them no, I know the symptoms and troubleshoot to the win, and they replaced it for $230 vs 1000+ for the computer, AND no I didn't need new keys they reused the same keys. GL EVERYBODY

The older Caravans were more reliable than there newer models! James

Please be aware that there's a recall for this problem is called P57. I have a Chrysler 300 with the exact same problem, I've called Chrysler & told them about my problem and the re-call , they told me to take to vehicle to the nearest Dealership in order for them to diagnose.Turn out it was the re call P57 and they fixed it for FREE. I only spend $50 on towing. Here is the number just in case 1-8000-853-1403 , please also check in your car has the re-call by checking your VIN number first @ vinrcl.safercar.gov/vin/ . Hope this helps!

Hello, some trainee mechanic has combined 2 batteries in series to start my Chrysler 300 and the fuse boxes, front and back are now making funny noise, and the car wont start, no power to injectors, plugs and fuel pump... am thinking of replacing the fuse boxes, is that the correct approach to solve the issue? PS: all the lights are ok on the dashboard, windows work fine as well

Thank you Jessy Lebron for your posting you have saved me a whole lot of money. The Dodge dealership is a rip off, they sell you a car and then do not work with you on THEIR defective parts. No one was able to help until I showed your video, my mechanic after the diagnostic was told to bring in to Dodge for THEIR own diagnostic out of MY POCKET, TOWING OUT OF MY POCKET, REPAIR OUT OF MY POCKET not fair.

So how much does the Winn reprogram cost from the guy in Texas (total cost) and what do u actually send him to get reprogrammed?? Do u get a new key fob or do u send ur old one to get reprogrammed? Has anyone tried buying a salvage unit with matching key-fobs for the repair(what's the price if so), or can I just buy a salvage unit w/ keys and send that in to reprogrammed. So I can still drive my car at home, which still works but takes about 20 attempts to finally recognize the key and start??? Thanks in advance for the help and the response.
