The only reason the rebels weren't cooked is because of plot armor. Thrawn is the smartest person in the empire. If he has run the empire he would have won most of the wars if not all of them. It was purely plot armor in Star wars rebels that they won

That is why you need to use language to communicate to assert dominance and leave no room for backdoors. Protip and a very necessary advice -- this very platform might very likely shadowban you very comment due to being semantically accurate or using a 'nay nay' -words. So if someone doesn't reply to you, the chances are that the platform didn't want you to have a chance. That is all.

Thrawn’s theme is so powerful and so perfectly represents him it’s probably the greatest addition the the Star Wars themes outside of the Mandalorian.

Slavin is absolutely confuzelled the entire time

At 20 seconds, his victory at Baton, with the immense amount of casualties. That is detailed in the Thrawn trilogy. Amazing books. ******Book Spoiler beyond this line:****** Thrawn was upset with what happened and the casualties were not his fault. He would have succeeded easily without the high casualty rate. Basically for a long time he was chasing after a brilliant opponent and treated him with respect. The high death toll was due to governor Pryce (Also in StarWars Rebel I think), awesome following her back story, modest origins and struggles and shocking to see how ruthless she had become at the end. I should re-watch Rebels... I watched it long before reading those amazing books.

God, hearing Pryce talk about Batonn so casually after learning what actually happened there. . . Makes me hate her even more.

When Kallus said that the battle of baton had more civilian deaths than criminal deaths we often forget that those civilian deaths were because of pryce, not thrawn

They should have added what Thrawn did to Slavin afterwards. Showing a brief expression of anger towards Slavin's ignorance.

I remember when an early teaser showed him getting angry and I worried they’d muck up his characterization. Then I saw how much of an insufferable twit Slavin was and realized how much patience Thrawn must’ve had to not snap at him sooner.

Lars Mikklesen's voice is so soothing and hypnotic. He perfectly portrays his confidence and expertise with stoic yet calm brilliance. I hope he pulls off the same presence in the live action Ahsoka TV series.

Thrawn's voice actor is so good that when I started reading Heir to the Empire trilogy again recently this is the voice I hear and it really fits with his words from those books as well.

Thrawn is so scary. He doesnt act all tough and intimidating like most of the other imperial officers, and in a way this makes him even more intimidating. He's calm, collected, and extremely intelligent (he has to have an iq of like 250 or something). What most imperials would see as a loss, he always says "yes, we did lose, but..." then share some shpeal about how they revealed themselves in the process. This is why he's probably my favorite imperial officer of them all.

The portrayal of Thrawn was great! The use of him was kinda asscheeks. He kept losing and getting outmaneuvered by the main characters simply because theyre the main characters

Thrawn’s voice actor did an incredible job. He was the best part of the show.

I am not sure but in 0:21 when he said override code for his droids, the name for the code is Rukh. Later in the Star Wars rebels appear alien Rukh which working for the Thrawn.

Thrawn's composer reminds me of _Two-Face..._ The animated series _Two-Face_ that is...NOT James Jones portrayal of the calm, collected, and sinister character...because apparently he thought he was another Jack Nicholson... ...and was going to be revered as such...*gag..!! I was about fifteen at the time, and had never walked out of a theater sooooo fuckin' pissed off..!! That was something else, but I totally give it up for Jim Carry tho...he's the only reason I didn't just walk out on the film. Something I didn't even realize was a possibility before, haha... ...first time I ever seen it happen was in Palp Fiction, that was hilarious (I'm sure one could guess which scene)...but the first time I myself walked out of a movie was... ....Van Fukin' Helsing...my gawd that was so bad...anyways, who da fuk wot was I..!?

You missed the part where Thrawn managed to narrow down the number of planets the Rebel base could be at, that was one of the biggest big brain moments I've seen from any character in Star Wars

Thrawn is easily the greatest Star Wars villain out there, and it is a shame he had to begin his rise in the shadow of Sidious. Thrawn being promoted by the Emperor is clearly a case of keeping your enemies closer, the battle between these two would have been monumental.
