Some ideas good, and some bad, but generally just what I am doing at any moment.
How to clean haze from an iPad
I have done this to a 2016 MacBook Pro, so when I purchased 3 iPad pro's with anti-glare haze I decided to give it a try.
This will remove the anti-glare coating, so do this at your own risk.

How to put a Quest head strap onto a Quest 2
Переглядів 4,3 тис.3 роки тому
I have a halo head strap for my Oculus Quest that I really like. www.amazon.com/MASiKEN-Headband-Pressure-Comfortable-Accessories/dp/B0891VJ72F/ The is a short description of how I made a simple modification to install it onto a Quest 2. I hope this helps.
hope his measurement skills improved and hes a master crafter now
Really great video, thanks for making and posting!
Thank You, that was very valuable information. I just ordered a 10U rack for my new RME & Warm Audio Gear. So after watching this video I can now intall it all by myself.
10-32 pan head star bit screws for the win. They strip far less.
I like your style man! Cheers from Sweden
I like big racks and I cannot lie
you must be an audio pro installer ?
Never realized my drill had an adjustable setting for the clutch. I know that's so simple but you got a like out of me for teaching me something I never knew I needed to know!
Hilarious and informative! Love it!
Very clear and helpful! Thanks!
Excellent video. Especially the clear demonstrations of how you can mess things up (and fix it).
They also make screws with bevels, that fit into beveled metal washers that have nylon washers behind them
Sound advice indeed! Subscribed 😎
Thank you for this how to video
So glad I found this video. Thank you!
Great presentation. Much appreciate the tips!
Nice video sir
Some fantastic tips and traps for young players. I learned a lot. Thank you.
wow an actual useful video about surround! I have been writing some 7.1.4 tracks to play around with Atmos production. IMO only the upscaling is useful. This seems born out by the seperate 2.0 versions seem to be uploaded to streaming platforms.
I'm about to do something like this for more eurorack space. It's stupid how much they charge for those cases... a 65usd power supply module will power two rows of average power requirements. And the thing itself is so cheap to build. It would be like 1200 to buy but also typically with really expensive internal linear psu etc. But that has never seemed necessary to me. Haha at the end there- man I see used gear looks so eaten up by bare bolts I'm like wtf? People don't use the plastic? On my eurorack modules I use straight nylon screws. Dirt cheap they work great, don't corrode or rust or get stuck and if they do you can easily get it out- they don't damage anything ever. Love em.
My amplifiers are heavy 36 pound qsc and 28 pound crown
Really nice tips, thank you.
Definitely don't use an impact driver lol
I'm enjoying these vids. Thanks for taking the time to make these.
"The first thing you need to know about a rack" There's a joke in there somewhere. Something about WMD's.
Eh, is it also not recommendable to mount two devices directly on top of each other cause of heat issues?Regards
Is it also possible to simply lay the rack down on the flor?😅 (if the back side is straight)
Great video
Thank you. Subscribed.
Isn't he Robert Keeley?
Really well-made video, funny and educational. I've been making music for 8 but I feel like a total beginner when it comes to the world of analog hardware, so I'm grateful there's a good video explaining these simple things. I'm still amazed and terrified that there's only the four screws at the front holding all that weight up!
A nice hands-on presentation! Thank you 👏 I'm always wondering if there should be something to hold the unit on the back side as well, especially when a heavy-duty unit is involved. 🤔 - Eero
There is a Halo for the quest 2
I came hear to learn about audio gear...instead I learned some practical knowledge.
Putting screws on the bottom… so simple yet I didn’t even realise! Great video! Cheers
That one simple trick is the coolest, most helpful tidbit I've collected in countless hours of watching recording studio related videos!! Thank you Sound Advise!!
