“What would you have done?” not that with the drill 😅
While i understand that this felt great to do, maybe dont post this on the internet lol
I know this pain brother
Your skill level, knowledge and thought process is that of someone with 30+ years. The amount of incompetancy in my area if out of control. You are a breath of fresh air
how long will it take for those young guys to get their license? Im looking to be an electrician myself, only 17
@@TheBerryMerryMan 5 years
these are not your regular breakers these are industrial breakers and usually you are required to wear safety equipment. how does it work? can you imagine your home's breaker? did you notice that there's a plate that works as a lever and as you push it it "disconects" or "recconects" the breaker? well, in this case the lever is loading a spring, and that spring is what pushes "the lever to connect the brekers". this is a safety measure because these kinds of breakers are for >230v, usually for more than 480 and at those voltages they can cause sparks that can cause accidents, or a bad connection can be a big issue.
"Locked and tagged out"? Misleading subtitles. No lock and no tag = it's not remotely similar to a LOTO, why would you call it that
Jeez
I have absolutely zero clue what's going on here (and in life in general) but it sure looks like that entire wall of drywall needs to be ripped down. All those wires are going to give me nightmares tonight.
I’m going into my 2nd year apprenticeship and I couldn’t tell you the amount of times I’ve heard “god damn apprentices” lol
What happened to the video why did it come out at the end
@@jacksnell213 the job ended up taking several hours longer than we thought it would. Eventually, my phone and recording device died despite using a separate battery pack. So unfortunately I was not able to capture the final product.
I found an extension cord that someone hard wired in the attic for a closet light, laying stripped bare by squirrels ,surrounded by wood shavings , just waiting to burn the whole house down..😂
Who ran the pipe?
Lube on romex
U need a helper!!!!!!
Hank would never sing this song.
🤦♂️
It's only temporary---unless it works
You’re probably thinking of continuity probes. Submersible transducers use a special crystal that can change current based on how much head is around it, producing an analog signal.
Nice job overall. I presume this is not the first one you have done. Transducers I have used in the past hang in the air and point at the liquid level from above and calculate the height by measuring the delay in the ultrasonic pulses. I don't understand how the transducer you installed can detect the liquid level while being submerged.
Great work guys you seem to have a lot of skill at a young age 🎉how much experience did u have before basically running the show ?
The wire nut is on the loose
Well uh I guess that's one way
is that speaker wire in the back?
😂
Washing up liquid into the hole works every single time
I was wondering how you were going to catch the slug and chips
@@joes2085 what is that some sort of regional sparky lango?
@POVsparky I guess. In NY, We call the round piece cut out by a holesaw, a "slug"
How the fuck do you people keep breaking fishtapes? I've never broken a single one, same with all the Jdubs I had as an apprentice, but it seems like every day someone has done something new to the poor fishtape.
That is not a nightmare ,that is reality you do not know what you are doing. Do you know the difference between a plumber and a pipe fitter?
People like you are the reason i work on my own stuff
Twisting the wire makes that happen….
Bros first day😭
😂😂 dam
Those GE breakers are total crap. Thermal trip only, and as you saw they trip without showing it. It was most likely tripping on that third phase only causing your 0 amps too. (Or the contactor was bad on that leg.) If possible, replace them with Siemans, CH or SqD and they will last longer and actually trip when needed.
lol it happens
I don't want a bunch of low paid work. I want to get paid for the work i do. I love walking away.
factory defect 🤣 You bent it backwards...turn the bander the other way...
Rookie mistake!
At first you were running a mouse... then you used the fish tape?Put your fish tape in the other end of the pipe run...
Yes look right at it while to turn it on…
why was the contacts chattering?
@@JOHNPHUFNAGEL the orange device in there (that was making a loud buzzing noise) is a phase loss/reverse sensor. If one of the former is detected, it opens circuits to protect the equipment. I adjusted the sensitivity on it slightly to see if I could get the buzzing to stop but it started chattering.
Bro just turned off entire Aperture Science Innovators
I also work for myself and I never offer to do extra services only the work I am hired for. If a customer tells me they can give me referrals for a better deal I tell them that I have too much work as it is and that is true.
you need to put primer on those pipes? 😂
Since you asked🎉, I would use jelly to aid with the pull
Hmm not sure why so many say this color scheme isnt a thing. So I wire everything at the rock quarry I work at, the soow cord i use is red white black and green, but every single diesel genset I open up, is red white blue. 480/240 3 phase
Push to close
Take ur line pliers and give the fish tap a solid push down, then the biggest pull u ever done, it works every single time
The deaf leading the blind. God speed knuckle heads.
Lmao!!
