lol they are gonna be far enough behind the 8 ball with Scottie missing time that there's no reason to trade Jak. if you want guys on this team to develop, trading Jak is an awful idea.

@@LockedOnRaptors jaks gone in december. raptors are in rebuild and masai wants a top 3 pick. adds a billion to the team in marketing if they can get flagg, bailey or harper. will sell out getting a high pick while rebuilding. its a win win. its not like scottie barnes ia number 1 option now or will be. so raptors have to find a number 1 option. they need development before they can actually compete in playoffs for a good 2-3 years. even rj he need to work on other parts of his game because being a defensive liability he really doesnt fit on a contender other than 4-5th option. team will be too expensive when dicks rookie extension arrives, so i feel rj will likely be odd man out.

@@LockedOnRaptors every reason to trade jakob poeltl to try to get a top 3 pick in a generational draft. jakob poeltl will get you another 1st round pick in 2025 or 2026. kelly olynyk may get you a 1st also. brown and boucher likely 2nd rounders.

MIP doesn't usually go to a 2nd year player for some reason, but he is definitely going to AS rookie game I would guess. I wish Darko would run a couple plays early to get him going, he is getting to be able to score in all facets of the game, moves well without ball and his D is getting better, his ball IQ is awesome. This team is gonna be hard to ignore if we ever get healthy, I hate tanking tho, doesn't work. I would rather have 4 year collage players than a potential maybe great 19 year old. Peace

lol raptors are 1 win 4 losses, with a west coast trip against playoff teams. by next wednesday after next week the raptors could be 1 win 11 losses. masai will pull the plug and trade jakob poeltl and after that lack of center will lead to alot of losses for raptors as they go for a high draft pick. masai wont wait if they are too many games under 500 before pulling the plug in a generational draft. just have to trade jakob poeltl and raptors will be lucky to win 20 games a season long. without jakob the hornets would have blown the raptors out by 20-30 points with mark williams.

I do think it's gonna be much more watchable without Scottie this time than it was at the end of last year for sure

a lot of stuff happens when fighting for rebounds. you could call a dozen fouls on board battles a game. not everything is gonna get seen/called

@@LockedOnRaptors Gradey started the game shooting 0/6 from 3. He had to sink 2 more just to make it a good shooting night. Last season battle shot nearly 500% from 3. We give him volume to get going and let the wins stack up. Battle is light years better shooter then Dick and the rest of his game is way better also. Dick is joke, he doesn't take the game serious and falls apart under pressure. If Dick spent 2 or 3 more years in the G league he could be ready for a NBA bench role.

@@gregsaddie Right now Dick isn't ready for the NBA bench roles. Starting him is actually hurting his development. A good coach would let him start in the G league for a few seasons. See if he can start to dominate. Then bring him in as a ace for the playoffs. With his confidence high. Like Raptors did with Norman. His extra time in development league has him as one of the best shooters in entire NBA right now.
