    Nice build. Your model De Lorean looks great. I needed the moving parts details for lowering/raising the wheels. My model is the Aoshima Back to The Future 3 version. The instructions don't mention the moving parts, and straight up inform you to glue as fixed wheel axle part. Like a stub axle. I noticed the parts on my sprue when I watched your video. I was able to pry off the glued stub axles and use the moving parts. Thanks a lot. Your video was also a great reference tool.

    just curious ive had mine for a year never used it bec it says can cause cancer if inhaled or smthn like that is itsafe to breathe in without a resperator because i make my models in a kitchen

    • @FORTworkshop
      @FORTworkshop 23 дні тому

      Many paints, plastic glue, putty - all this is chemical and inhaling its vapors is harmful, just ventilate the room and use a regular simple respirator. By the way, this putty has almost no smell.

    I am watching this late in the day because I can't sleep, however watching this makes me realise why modelling is a thing of beauty and the time and heart it goes into making it. Despite the fact I don't have polystyrene I am using a flat piece of wood, simply because this is going to be my first diorama and I don't want to do anything fancy. Thank you so much for this video, I think that honestly it is so nice to see so many people dig deep into model making and making craft from the heart. I lost my Father early this year whilst I was struggling in general with everything, but he gave me a lifeline - the enjoyment of model making and I never have lost that passion now! I do model making in memory of my Father, because if it wasn't for him, I would be in a much more darker place. By the way, I hope wood is ok when making a diorama!

    • @FORTworkshop

    hi iv just found your great idea thank you. i bought a 3d printed one its not very satifactory it broke. but seeing this neat idea is a massive improvement and so simple. i was thinking you could make bigger sized corrugated tin or corrugated sheeting by changing the stick size for different scales. youre a geinus... we have green garden sticks about 2.5mm then theres kebab sticks of 3.5mm, iv spent ages trying to figure out how to make corrugated. thanks
