Corn and fish maw soup(for 2 people)
Ingredients:
1 piece fish maw
1 can(482ml) Chicken broth
1 can(284ml) Cream style corn
2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoon White pepper powder
Cornstarch slurry(1 tablespoon water mix with 2tablespoons cornstarch)
粟米魚肚羹(二人份)
材料:
魚肚一塊
清雞湯一罐(412ml)
忌廉粟米一罐(284ml)
雞蛋兩隻
白胡椒粉 1 1/2 teaspoon
粟粉芡(水一湯匙粟粉+粟粉一湯匙)

    Love your dad's recipes! so many of these dishes reminds me of my childhood. Since we as kids were not allowed in the kitchen when my mom or grandmother were cooking (they wanted us to do our homework instead or to stay out of the way- Lol ) - I never learned how to cook these dishes. Makes me miss them and also how I took these dishes for granted. Thank you for showing us how to make these dishes.

And yes every family has their own recipes,when I was a kid mom was the one usually cooks but I prefer my dad's cooking(he cooks only on Sundays) I think because my dad know the taste better and when he had time he brought me to try new restaurants(only me and him although I also have a brother and sister)he made me become a foodie now 😂👍

      All you need is chop the duck livers to subsitite 30% of the meat, use boiling hot water rinse them and paper towel to pat dry and mix with everything in the recipe :)

      @@vicvegas171 I never tried with breakfast but a secret recipe here, make very short Chinese sausage, like 1 inch long, add a teaspoon of water, heat them in microwave for 30 sec It's a savoury Chinese snack for us to substitute ham and cheese :)

      Yes there a brand called LEE KUM KEE, I believe they carry them in some bigger Chinese groceries, btw, I will be making a XO sauce video, please stay tuned!

    This recipe is not as spicy as how it looks, you can add chopped Thai chili pepper right after the meat is cooked! 這個食譜不是看起來那麼辣的喔,喜歡別辣可以在肉碎煮熟後加入切碎的泰式辣椒呢!
