The 3 minute option on the washing machine seems to be for the drier basket. The 3 minute option continually rotates in one direction. I did not find the drier to be useful because the drier was difficult to use. As I would try to dry the towels, the basket will get out of balance and would cause the machine to shake.

    Where I live, the back of the rotor always gets rusty and grooved. What I like to do is take them off and slide the rotors flat against the asphalt road, turning them frequently. After about 15 minutes, the back will be completely resurfaced.

    Nice video straight to the point, But I have a question, I have the charger for my cordless battery(which doesn’t work) can I hook up the laptop charger to the original charger? ie take motherboard out and just hook up positive and negative wires, then just slide battery on the original charging dock? Keep the oem charger just being powered up by the laptop charger?

      @fixwhat1137 3 місяці тому

      Hello sabiya2, I appreciate it thank you. I'm glad that you enjoyed the video. To answer your question though, I'm not sure. What if your charger is the issue, the internals of your charger such as the circuit board inside. If you power the charger but the internals are broken, it still may not charge your battery. That is just my opinion. You do have an interesting idea though.

    • @fixwhat1137
      @fixwhat1137 3 місяці тому

      Hello sabiya2, just a quick update, I might have misunderstood your question, if you meant to remove the circuit board inside the charger and connect the laptop charger to the leads of the charger directly bypassing the circuit board inside the charger, then that might work. The downside is that you will probably be able to charge only one type of battery. You can only charge batteries that can fit in that charger. But still, what a great idea.

    • @sabiya2
      @sabiya2 3 місяці тому

      Hi thanks for your reply, ok so an update, what I did was I connected the laptop charger directly to the pins on the inside of the original cordless charger, so now I just slide the battery into the charger and it works with no issues. Thanks man

    If you're getting vibration when you brake due to warped rotors, this idea will do nothing for you. Warped rotors are dangerous & should be replaced, the cost is irrelevant, your life depends on them!

    • @chevyhighrider
      @chevyhighrider 5 місяців тому

      Often times “warped rotors” are not actually warping at all. Rather it’s uneven pad deposits on the rotors.

      I would not recommend doing this on a customer's car. The rotors would either have to be cut if it can still be cut or replaced. This was more of an experiment and not an official repair. It wasn't perfect, but it did smooth out the ride a little bit.

    This is still a great method since even brake shops that still resurface rotors said no when I told them I have drilled rotors. I still don't get why so many shops say you can't re-cut with a lathe machine if they are not regular rotors. I know for sure that is bulls****, I have seen it done many times, all it takes is having a machine that can be set to the lowest rotational speed and doing 3 or 4 passes with the least amount of depth cut on each pass. Probably overkill with that many passes, but with those 2 settings, perfect rotors. Plus the machine does most of the work for you automatically. So I already don't trust the mechanic or shop that says it can't be done without damage to aftermarket rotors. Here is the proof, just search this video - Can You Resurface a Drilled & Slotted Rotor? | PowerStop The real reason seems to be that they are lazy and don't want to do it because selling you new rotors makes them more money. If you are a mechanic, I would like to hear your reasons, honestly. Thanks for the upload.

    Anytime my 2009 Subaru's Check Engine Light comes on, it always sets off the traction control and cruise control. That is normal, and plus I have had it happen when the gas cap was loose. The next day of driving, it reset once I got the gas cap screwed back on more. Nowadays, I do not go anywhere after refueling and clicking the cap 3-4 times and it never happened since.

    • @fixwhat1137
      @fixwhat1137 9 місяців тому

      Hi benjaminsalt9456, there is another part that could be checked. The other part is the igniter. It could also be that the wiring for the head lights in the car is worn out. It could also be the actual switch, which is the part that you use to switch on the lights. The car would have to be troubleshooted further. Try and do the process of elimination to narrow down the problem. Now that you know that the ballast and headlights are new, those parts can be eliminated as possible faults. I hope this helps you benjaminsalt9456.

    • @fixwhat1137
      @fixwhat1137 9 місяців тому

      Hi JimmyJohnson-ub4rt, the problem was with the ballast. Since this car has HID lights, there is additional equipment for the head lights. One of the additional components for the head lights is the ballast. Unfortunately the ballast is located behind the front bumper of the car, and so there will be a handful of work in order to get to the ballast. Thank you so much for watching.
