Arding & Hobbs in Clapham Junction, like many other department stores, was once a buzzing destination for entire families, but with rapidly changing shopping habits was threatened by extinction. Watch AKT II directors Valentina Galmozzi and Gary McKee explain how W.RE and the project team, led by Stiff + Trevillion, saved this stunning venue from obsolescence and made it relevant again.

Wow I cannot believe you did it , so so proud I always wanted to go inside as a teenager but I had more sense , but I cannot believe that's it's finally happened because I cant remember a time when the maltings wasn't being restored and I'm 46 i need to Pop back to Shrewsbury and see this . It's amazing because it's enormous .
