The players are then sold WAY too soon to bigger clubs and over 3/4 of them fail. It's a sad reality because a whole nation lost its identity because of incompetence, greed and a lack of forward thinking. We can still fix things but it'll take time and bravery from the federation, the league and every club who wants to be competitive.
